Don't know if this has been covered elsewhere but I'd wager we're 95% certain to be the first opposition for a new Palace boss and they'll obviously fancy their chances in one of their more 'winnable' games with probably 2 weeks straight of working with their new squad.

How does everyone feel about this? Is a bit annoying, we could really have done with the international break after this game.

You can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear. I still think we'll win, regardless of who manages them, they still have a pretty poor squad.

No matter who is in charge, they will still be ****ing awful.

Though I presume a lot of their fans still think they are better than us...

It's a guaranteed piss easy 3 points. Relax.

Without the introduction of a new manager we would be feeling confident of 3 points but as we all know the new manager syndrome produces curious results. However, CP are not just lacking in confidence at the moment they are also lacking in quality. If we score first we'll be comfortable winners, if they score first we may well still take them.

Should the worst happen and CP take the points it will only be a dead cat bounce. They are doomed, they need too many players to rectify things in the January window (even if they want to spend the sort of money it would take to encourage players to move there).

Who is the favourite for the job at the mo?

Seems to me like they're struggling to persuade anyone that it's worth going there.

Obviously the players will up their game to impress the new guy (or gal) but have their players even when playing at 100% got more quality than we have.

Had a look earlier, and Derby had six points after 10 games.

I had no idea of this. Its not getting much attention as Derby didnt win all season and Palace already have, but if anything this just shows Derby were harder to beat than Palace.

I'd love to see a new record actually, I've never really minded Derby and Palace are ****s.

    Here's the site I used:

The drop downs let you change it by matchday.

Completely agree. I don't mind Derby at all. Palace are arseholes.

Frankly if they go for Coleman ahead of Pullis, then they are likely to go down. I don't like Pullis style of football, but he would stop the rot, and make them hard to beat. Just depends whether he has enough time to sort the mess out Holloway left by the end of the season.

Bloody hell - they only got another 5 points all season!!!

Id guess it's more about who would take the job. I cant see Pulis being that desperate, whoever takes over has little chance of keeping them up and after so mnay good years at Stoke why does he need need that? I still think Sunlan shouldve gone for him, they'd make a good match. Coleman on the other hand is much more desperate and likely to take the job.

Wonder if we can poach a few of their players in January?

Jedinak, Ward and Bolaise will be targets for other clubs, Jedinak in particular looks like a solid player, especially if Spurs play hardball over Livermore. Plus with Koren getting on, it couldn't hurt to have somebody else (other than Davies and Chester) with captain credentials in the side.

Honestly at this current moment I'd have none of them. Jedinak would be a last resort though if needed.

Jedinak is a bit of a prick, reminds of Fellaini. Bolasie looks interesting and tricky!
