The FIA are a ****ing joke, it seems the boundaries of the track depends on who you are or what team you drive for, and unsafe release? I've seen Ferrari do worse this season and, surprise surprise, get nothing for it.
Nobody could ever accuse the stewards of being consistent. The miserable buggers should just let the drivers celebrate. Then again, it's more fun when they do it defiantly.
he could've let off, any other team would've been sanctioned for it, just as Lotus were when a Ferrari crowded Grosjean off track in Hungary, but, as usual, one rule for Ferrari one rule for everyone else, just like Vettel V Alonso in Monza 2011 & 2012, Alonso crowds Vettel off track, it's ok, Vettel could've let off, but when it's the other way around Vettel gets a drive-through because it's a Ferrari. ****ing joke. And please remind me which driver kicked up a huge stink about people overtaking off track, oh, that's right, it was Alonso. I guess driver hypocrisy reaches it's zenith when you have flabio as manager.
I'm actually glad that I'm busy for the next two grand prix, stops me being tempted to watch the inevitable borefest. I can't remember ever caring this little about what happens. Its far from Vettels fault but its beyond a joke how fast his car is compared to the others, there's literally no point anyone even trying for the win. Hamilton drove poorly today, no idea if he had issues but I assume he didn't. Kimi lasted all of one corner and couldn't be bothered. Alonso manages to do ok thanks to inconsistent stewarding. Rosberg was probably the driver of the day despite being several days behind Vettel. Webber should just remove KERS from his car and save the hassle. It's just been a awful end to the season and I can only hope that 2014 is something different, otherwise I fear for the sport.
All we need is the sports promoter to make the end of the season worth watching....... What's that?... He's in court for corruption?... Oh well
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/24798485 Alonso's overtake on Vergne caused a vertical impact of 28G when he bounced over the kerbs. I've never known gravel to cause an impact like that.
Yikes.. Unfortunately, if the floor of the car endures such an impact, the energy has nowhere to go but through the body. Hopefully the damage is light.
It's looking like it'll probably be Raikonnen, he's incredibly rude and arrogant, and his attitude stinks tbh.
Turns out both Red Bulls were at it!
Is that really how they took him to Hospital, after he'd driven around the track, got out, did interviews etc? Seems a bit of an overkill ............. to dress him so at first glance he looks like a garden gnome.
