Looks like Daiswan might have been right after all. We are going backwards this season. We have become clueless in the final third of the pitch, our ball retention is beyond a joke now, no passion or effort from many of the players today and the same players who do nothing on a continuous basis keep starting games. If we keep deteriorating like this, we could be in a lot of trouble come the second half of the season.
You might be right...JDG was hardly seen today and I've had enough of him. As for the others, I thought Taylor and Rangel failed to step up an support our attack enough and shelvey showed his inexperience again. Anyway, onwards to the next game. We need some wins otherwise the second half will look quite daunting.
Its hard to recognise that team out there today compared to the teams that have brought us up here. there was no passion no urgency and ML doesnt seem to get it ? Bellers was crap and previously we would have used that to get at em, apart from their goal where shelvey left the post he was supposed to be guarding wide open it was a poor showing of the first welsh derby to a world wide audience a very poor game all round. and sods law we lose michu our best player and vorm in this game ! Things need to improve quick as to many changes this season to the team seem to be backfiring at the moment ?
What a bloody disgrace we were today, we were absolutely clueless at Legoland in the final third, and we have lost all heart and soul, some of our players should hang their heads in shame, totally bottled it in the second half, something is really wrong with our squad this season, and only Huw Jenkins and Laudrup know the real issues, but we are a shadow of former seasons!................
Calm the **** down. We were poor and yes I blame Laudrup but I'll be astonished if they finish above us.
That might well be the case but I'll be gobsmacked if we get a top ten this season. And no, I'm not over reacting.
DPJ: I don't think you 'see' that much mate. But I agree we were terrible 2nd half and they deserved the win. I just think that there will be some hysteria after today and most of it will be uncalled for. Cardiff didn't have a single shot on target 1st half and we will beat them down here. So like I said. Time for cool heads.
Of course there will be hysteria. The problem is, as has been said many times already, we've been sussed. Cardiff pressed us hard in front of goal and our passing's gone to pieces. This isn't hysteria, it's happening most games now. And yes, Cardiff were poor... but that's the worrying thing.
There is no point rationalizing away that very poor display second half Knackered, and it's been a hallmark of our game this season, something is very wrong with the squad at the minute, and only Laudrup can sort it, but I have a feeling that our board are far from impressed with our season so far, too many issues from too many of our players not performing!.................
please log in to view this image ..............Exactly as I see it too, and we don't seem to have a clue at player level or manager level how to deal with it, it's starting to look like it's going to be a long hard season!...............
Look FC Kuala Lumpit are going to go down, i thought Mike Dean again played a blinder for them today, they will come to the liberty in february where order will be restored,
Eh, I think everyone's just hurting because of the derby result. Of course we would be. It hurt last time in 2011, and look how that season ended... That said there's been a few overreactions to bad results this season so far, certain members need to get a grip.
If we carry on playing like we have then we will be close to going down as well. Thank God we managed to get a win against Sunderland because we have been crap for a long time now.
Why is that NJ, because we can see that we are nowhere near as good as we have been in recent seasons and that we are really struggling at the moment and look clueless. On the past few games, we were even much better under Brendan
We threw today before we even went on the pitch. The team selection was great and more than enough to beat any poor team that are the standard cardiff are at at the moment, The approach to the game was all wrong due to the majority of players attitude towards getting injured or red carded that will put them out of the running for european matches, We were all over them but getting nowhere fast in the first half where vorm was just a spectator with not a single shot on target to be worried about.....You have to look at laudrup's way of doing things here as we have not moved forward for a good while now and i have always said our squad is to small to compete in all competitions this season and it is showing especially in the league matches..A british manager would not have taken this game so lightly...Fair play to malky as he must have had a good half time talk to his players and i can guess what he told them too..." you can win this game if you go for it " and they did with caulker giving them their deserved only goal they needed...I still think laudrup is not the best manager we have ever had at swansea as there have been better tactically and knows how much these derby matches mean to both swansea and cardiff....we threw the game away before we kicked a ball...
