Dates and prices are... YORK..........................13 JULY.....................PRICE TBC GERMANY.....................17 - 23 JULY............7 - 20 EURO BURNLEY......................30 JULY...................TBC HARTLEPOOL.................2 AUG......................10.00 HIBS............................6 AUG......................15.00 I fancy all the UK ones
Going to the continental games, easier for me than a lot of UK, or farther away based fans, biggest expense will be petrol or train fares, but looking forward to them, hope some of you folks can make it.
Bit gutted as work with a Burnley lad so planned the 30th for a lash up and the game but disaster........ Wedding anniversary. I know, I know she would be understanding if I hadn't have been on a stag do for last years. Reckon she has earned a night out for that. If I'm up visiting me mam's might go to pool.
Sorted mate,, Nice drive in fancy dress for her. Afternoon with entertainment at Turf Moor the off to........ Aldos Restaurant Pizzeria Finest traditional Italian restaurant Tel: 01282-454505 In Burnley. Just dont tell her it was my idea
I'm going to all the UK ones. Wish I could make it to Germany this year but work and college is more important I guess.
im heading off to the Germany games. going to take the ferry over to amsterdam first and then drive accross to germany!! cant wait!
TIP, I use the Ijmuden from North Shields ferry a lot. [ its not Newcastle and its not Amsterdam ] Make your own picnic up, bring your own spirits if you drink them, far cheaper than on board, have plenty of one pound, and fifty pence coins for your mixes, and dont get pissed, five hours is enough, you will go through passport control, although technically we should just be able to drive through. the reason being, too many pissed drivers, gives the Dutch folks a chance to assess the people coming through, if you are pissed, you are there for the rest of the day, until you sober up, this is not just Brits, its Polish,German, Dutch etc, save money take your own stuff. easy as , by the way Tesco, Asda.......etc cheaper than Holland, Germany and the boat.
Few good places to drink in Burnley. Though the last time I went Nugent ruined us. Was a bit of an embarrassment.
Got Burnley down as one and probably the chimp chokers always a decent night out not sure about the rest though.
Defo York and Hartlepool. My boss's wife is tha PA to the pools chairman and he always has free tickets on the go. I've even got me parking spot sorted. Should be a good night.
Haha syd you're a braver man than I. Took her to city this season so might have to wait a bit longer till her memory fades before I drag her to see the lads again. Still I'm led to believe there are things in life other than football so not all bad. Dirty weekend away not a bad second prize, just hope I can remeber what goes where!
Hibs just a short trip for me. Bart where you going to be drinking, was thinking Start in the original Bull then down to the top end of easter road.
Haven't given it any thought - my mates from Consett and Shiny Row might be up so will depend on where they want to meet. Where is the original Bull, coz I could make my way there. Will be playing golf early morning, but plan to be in edinburgh by 12 - happy to meet up in any pub in Edinburgh - would be good to meet up with some Not606ers - see what they are really like. Invitation does not extend to Billofengland who is going to beat me up when he meets me - so he reckons - ha ha!!! Lol Bart
Syd - gonna try for maybe 3 days in the Fatherland (all dependant on cash flow), definately Hartlepool (Ritchie Humphries is a NE legend for any club and deserves the tribute) and definately Hibs as I've never been to Easter Road but not that bothered about Burnley to be fair.
Original Bull just of the East end of princess st heading down to Leith Walk. Planned to be there about 12ish.
