    If the BBC stats are correct, Burnley v. West Ham might be in the running for worst game ever played. 72 minutes in, Burnley with six shots (one on target), West Ham with zero shots!? The ****?

    Edit: and a penalty to West Ham the second I finish typing that. 1-0.

    Some exciting games tonight. Leicester winning 4.3...if we get them in the draw, I would hope Mauricio puts out a strong side next Wednesday (he won't of course).

    Yeah, he's a very good Championship player indeed. Premier League..? Possibly a step too far.

    EDIT: Just thinking. Antonio and Papa Waigo were gone by the time Nigel turned up.!?!

    Still think like it was all yesterday. Well it was really. 2009-10.

    EDIT AGAIN: Another thing. Next season is the one where Saints are meant to make the PL, based on the original 5 year plan.

    I almost forgot Antonio went on loan to Southampton. Stupid really, as I remember him scoring a breakaway goal at the Mem when the Saints beat us 3-2 in the FA Cup in 2009 under Pardew. David Connolly also on good form that night. I wonder if you still like him now...

    David Connolly will always be special for Saints fans. Even Mick Channon played for Pompey late in his career.
