I think the guy who was in charge beforehand is taking temporary charge again. He still plays which is why he gave it up last time. He also happens to be the person I go to the pub with to watch Liverpool
Should be a shoe in for a starter spot then! Problem is, how have they been doing since you've been away? If it's **** then you can't lose as you can't get any worse but if they've been winning, you come back and start losing, the finger will firmly be pointed at you
They was doing well towards the end of last season but the manager decided to change the system etc. I think they've won one in about seven so far this year He also preferred runners over players, IMO this is why I don't get picked #lazy (I'm not actually that bad when it comes to running but I am far from the most energetic on the pitch) There are two or three others that should have been playing more too IMO so I'm certainly not expecting to play ninety minutes each week, I don't even expect to start games. Just want to play a part which wasn't happening at all under the last manager. The guy I go to the pub with: he is mates with all of us so makes no difference that I watch the footy with him. I wouldn't want any favours either
Good thing about our team is we only normally have 12 or 13 max turn up each week so the regular people get a game every week. Couldn't be bothered to turn up if I knew I#d have to sit on side lines while it's cold and wet! We kept our first clean sheet of the season today though #soliddefence
We've got a fair few shift workers. In our second season, we had 36 signed on and struggled to get eleven some weeks Think we have about 28-30 ATM but that includes a couple of us (me included) that signed on so that we could fill in if we're short. I've played three games this season, two of which were friendlies. I did take part in the seven-a-side tournament (with two subs) in the summer which we won
Sounds like us. Signed on about 25 players, then first game of the season we had 3 subs, since then we've never had more than 2 subs with most weeks only 1! Don't mind too much as means guaranteed a game each week
We have "training" sessions throughout the summer. For about four or five weeks running prior to the season starting, we had twenty-two plus players turning up. Come first game of the season, myself and two others (who hadn't been to any of the "training" sessions) had to play PS...this is where the ex-manager annoys me because I turned up all summer, played the two friendlies and helped them out in the first game of the season, yet in the second game when a few decided to turn up (seventeen), I was dropped from the squad completely
I thought that. I don't mind the odd bit of banter as he is a good laugh, but when there's 5-6 people all baiting him it borders on bullying. Yeah Matth does retaliate but he's as offensive as a box full of kittens.
They may have reached physical maturity but their psychological/intellectual development has been stunted - all of them!
He can't mate. I think he's addicted to forums. **** knows where our 3 mods are though as it's been going on for days
I was gonna say maybe if you actually had mods on here to control things then it wouldn't seek as bad. But didn't want to kick off a whole new argument as I imagine it isn't easy being a mod.
i don't mind wumming, i could've wummed you lot yesterday but chose not to because i get angry when United lose too.
