So your optimism is because teams like Norwich & Fulham got beat? did you watch the swansea game when we did what Norwich & Fulham did.

No, my optimism is based on many things. I'm not the kind of person to be knee-jerking all over the place for good or bad reasons.

Partly the fact that the club has been in turmoil but has most of the season to recover, I've seen it before on a few occasions.

Plus the fact that we have enough good players to win enough games.

If the teams around us were much better than us I wouldn't have any hope but there's some real **** down there.

We were beaten by Hull who are probably the worst side I've seen this season.

So, no ...... it's not just because teams around us are getting hammered, but it helps.

\Good to see optimism but if you think you outplayed Newcastle and outplayed us when we both had full teams you are not being realistic. We were hopeless breaking you down but your team did not remotely suggest they are capable of putting a long running sequence together.I think the red mist decended on 2 of your players after the period of us taking the piss with a few minutes possession. If we can do that I hate to think what the big boys will do to you.
I really feel sorry for you in that your crowds are so good but you will never be able to attract top players or serious funding. It is a pretty difficult situation from the outside watching fans think they support a big club when we can all see they do not.
Sorry but someone had to tell you

All hail Hull City .............. we are all aware of the fact that Sunderland are not a big club and never will be.

Those days are long gone when anyone but the usual suspects will win the league.

I appreciate you want to make the most of your brief moment in the Premier League, while it lasts, but you always show you have no class.

It ws just the same the last time you were up.

BTW, are there actually any tigers on Humberside or is that all bollocks as well?

I don't knee jerk at all pal I just tell it like it is. you call teams like Hull & Palace **** but they beat us so what does that say about us? in my opinion we got 3 to 4 good players & one of them isn't getting pick. if Fletcher doesn't score then who else is going to score? I think we **** & thats my opinion.

Bet he doesn't score anymore tho. there is only 2 teams what have scored less than us & that says it all. if you don't score enough then there's only one place you going & that is down.

I agree we will never be as big as you.You will never be as big as Newcastle or Spurs.York will never be as big as us.Hope you feel better.Size seems to be a BIG issue with you.I am no trained therapist but I can guess what the personal issue might be.

You are as big as Newcastle and Spurs. And I am sure you dwarf Linford Christie.Do not cry yourself to sleep anymore.Must leave you now.I had not realised the magnitude of our giant slaying until now.See you in the new year.It will be great to see 40,000 when we come.Did you see how many fans little Spurs had for our 2 matches against them-yeah against little old Hull.
    Bigger than Newcastle!

We shall see if your loyal support is still there when we arrive (all snuggled up in mid table). We may be paying attention to see if you have players you will need to off load come your time in the Champ.Did not see much quality yesterday to be frank.Did you count how many passes we put together before your gruesome twosome went into meltdown.
P.S. was there a reason so many of your fans were trying to get onto your coaches at half time.Loyal ? Big? Babyish?
Maybe in a world controlled by Paolo you could force the world to recognise you as massive. No wait -that was tried and the little people stopped it.

Cheers, pal. Enjoy your time in the Prem. It can slip away easily enough. Long way to go and you'll find out the hard way when injuries and suspensions kick in.
