13.18: More on that 'United reserves to Sunderland' story. Accoding to the Sunderland Echo, Manchester United did accept a bid of £12m from Sunderland for Darron Gibson, Wes Brown and John OShea. They claim that 'Gibson's move should be the easiest to complete' with the midfielder frustrated at a lack of options at Manchester United, but they suggest that Brown and O'Shea are far more reluctant to leave Old Trafford. Bit of good news there like didnt fancy Brown and O shea can **** off if he dont want to come.
Agreed. Would quite like to see O'Shea if he wanted to be here mind you but if neither of them do we'll look elsewhere!
To be fair, anywhere is going to be a bit of a come down after spending your career at Man Utd isn't it?
Yes saw that on an ealier thread. Would like all three but to me its simple, we make an offer, tell them whats its all about and they sign or they dont. It seems that Ngog, Brown and Oshea, on. if we can believe what is written, a big if, have decided no without talking so if its true they can **** off and we move. When Crouch said no he at least came and talked, said the right things then chose Spurs, I have no problem with that.
Yea but they are having a fire sale, hes not wanted and his contract will be wound down, Hell be hoping someone bigger comes in for him.
maybe Villa with there world class manager lol and he can play with bent seen as though all his mates that enticed him there are ****ing off and leaving him in the Brown stuff
Twelve mill would buy a decent couple of players, not so happy with all of our dealings centered around Spurs and Man U. Theres a great big world out there, but we seem focused on a couple of UK clubs, we need ambition, scour the world for the best, who are our scouts, does HE live in Mansfield, easy drive between clubs?
Don't believe that personally. United, barring maybe Ferdinand and Rooney, don't throw silly money at players from what I've read. If that is true. Say whatttttttttttt?
Its okay. We know Brown and O'shea have very litte hunger, they're happy to sit on the arses. Good luck to them. At least Gibson is showing a bot about him, wanting to prove himself by playing every week. He could sit on the bench and collect the money, but he sees playing regulalry as more valuable which should be applauded. Would rather have a hungry youngster we can mould into a good prom than two part time 30 year olds with more money than sense. Hope Gibson comes.
if we end up not signing o'****e and brown because they don't want to come we'll have dodged an expensive bullet imo. overrated, overpayed, injury prone wastes of space. if they'd not come through at yernited they would be journeymen bottom half of the prem/championship players.
