The Spurs fans on here can't believe Lukaku got booked for that, seems its only Sunderland fans who want players sending off for going for a ball he has every right to go for like McShane!!
So why was he booked if there was no intent surely it was reckless enough.if it was not reckless he should not have been booked.there is no I between in them circumstances.
If anything I'd say the McShane incident was more Westwood hurling himself into McShane, but then again I haven't seen a replay yet. Certainly not a red though and Poyet's "could have killed him" quote made me chuckle.
The ball was there to be won as was the ball yesterday, McShane never once took his eyes off the ball, all Fans should expect there players to go for a 50/50 ball no matter if its against a Defender, Midfielder or Keeper.
Nothing in McShane's, nothing in Lukaku's, booking was ridiculous, players have every right to go for a ball in those situations.
Yeh that was the point of my post.if it was a come together so be it but if it was with intent then that would be a different point
