you are right but , thats the way the league is won every season .........................one game at a time . Thats another 3 points under the belt.
Well played today guys. By far the better team, not too many chances in the game, but I thought you did well preventing us from playing at all. Score line was fair.
If not a little confused about why sagna wanted the ball put out for a player who got injured off the pitch then walked back onto it to get treatment.
Coutinho is lucky that it was only Sagna. Had Flamini been fit he probably would have broken his jaw.
Feller, you've a cracking football team, but sorry to shatter your illusions - there's not exactly one 'hard' player in your squad. Sakho would blow your whole team over without breaking sweat. And that's without Skrtel and Gerrard getting involved.
Have you ever watched Flamini play? Trust me, you don't need to be big and black to be a tough guy. The only people Gerrard can harm are unarmed DJ's.
They weren't much better on MOTD. Nobody is saying Arsenal will win the title, but to brush us off as having zero chance is just ****ing stupid, since January we've had the best form out of anybody in the league, so this hasn't been good form since after the Villa game, but since the early part of the year.
If having a cracking team lacking hard men means beating Liverpool 2-0 and consistently finishing above you every season, then I'd be more than happy to have that. As for 'hard', you need to watch Arsenal as Hans told you, Flamini is a very hard player, so is Vermaelen, Koscielny, and Sagna. Wilshere also, he might be small, but he isn't no softie pushover. This is football anyways, if you want to be 'hard' go watch porn, or go watch the UFC. Barca when they conquered all, didn't have 'hard' players, they were very small players, and always falling over and rolling, but that didn't matter much now did it, off course not, because this is FOOTBALL, not a fighting competition to prove how 'hard' you are. If being 'hard' was the standard criteria, then Stoke would be the dominant champions season in season out. And Sagna would break Gerrard's nose by just one headbutt with that strong forehead of his. Koscielny would break Sakho's leg with a hard tackle, and Flamini would blind Skertel.
He's not exactly that quick that if you blink you miss him, so yes, I have. I think you're mistaking mis-timed tackles and side-on barges for 'hardness'. He's up there with Gatusso in the overrated pussycat stakes.
Ok ok we have a bunch of softies....On the point that matters, which is the football you know? We just beat you 2-0, going clear at the top of the table with 5 points, that's all that matters. You want to be hard and all, go watch the UFC.
Actually Arsenal's record with him speaks volume's this season. He is exactly what we need (and believe I have seen more of him than you, both now and in his previous stint here); he hounds and harasses the opposition, wins the ball back, makes crucial interceptions and distributes the ball effectively from transition from defence to attack. Compare that to the ineffective Lucas.
not a word with that I disagree with. But perhaps our smallest, lightest player was screamed at and barged by a plazzy-gangster for not putting the ball out in dubious circumstances. And then one of your posters reckons he's lucky that a real tough guy didn't break his jaw! Sagna wouldn't have done that against Lucas, let alone one of our hard guys. And then your posters jiz over his 'aggression' ....
