****ing no where to be seen!! I said they were **** last season on here and got slated for it by all and sundry (inc City fans).... We'll guess what... they're still ****! In fact they're worse than last season. Time wasting from the 1st minute whilst playing 3 strikers? Genius.

We had the rare chance to pump balls in to their box second half and it showed we aren't physical enough, Faye was on the bench, I'd have liked to see Faye given the last 20 mins as centre forward.

Yes Cattermole knew he would get a red , he was walking . I couldn't tell if it was jutified at the time but the player himself certainly knew

Cattermole's red is ludicrous. The game has gone if that's worthy of a sending off.

Don't know what's worse. The decision or Elmohamady's reaction. Pathetic.

Dossena deserves a hefty ban though. Disgusting foul.

He'd done something worse a few minutes earlier on Thudd.

    Swings and roundabouts.

It is embarrassing that Elmo rolled around like that. Elmo should have possibly been booked, not a red for Cattermole.

    My thoughts.

City were the better team in the first half. We were already 1-0 up before the two bellends got themselves sent off, and by that time we were passing it around well. You could sense somebody red & white stripes was going to lunge in and do something daft. And of course, Cattermole doesn't disappoint. Dossena is a disgrace.

Second half, we should've upped the tempo, but it was slowed down by ourselves and we never really stretched Sunderland.

Our strikers are ****e. Thankfully, their strikers were as bad (all match). Altidore picked up where he left off i see.

They could've nicked a point, but Harper was switched on and made a good save form Johnson. After that, they lumped the ball into the box and it was pretty comfortable.

As a defensive player myself, I'm inclined to agree with you. However, he does raise his foot and have the studs showing, and by today's rules that warrants a red card. If anything he deserved a red for being stupid enough to make the challenge in the manner he did.

Embarrassing people saying Elmo got Cattermole sent off. You are joking. He made a rash tackle that was dangerous.

A player roling around isn't anything new.
