The only one who's thinking there's no need to panic? 6 points adrift with 54 to play for? We didn't look clever before the sending off, but who's to say once Poyet got them in a half time he couldn't have made the appropriate changes and advice to get the game back on track. Two stupid players did stupid things which gave us little chance to get anything out of the game. The Teams around us are **** and there's only Fulham of them we've played at home. Yep we're **** too but with so much ****e about we can't write ourselves off. Any one of us can go on a run and one or two of us probably will. KTF, there's a hell of a long way to go yet lads.
This really would be a terrible year to go down, there are 7 or 8 awful teams. On paper we have some very good players (cue to obvious pun) I fear that the damage is already done though. Its a tough task but not totally impossible
Why thank you. Someone has to try and balance the scales innit. My points are valid but as you imply, it doesn't solve our current issues. I'm not the type of person who'll feel sorry for myself and lick my wounds. I'm a fighter and a positive spirit. I love you all to bits and try my utmost to raise spirits or at least provide a positive spin as well as protest to negativity. I'm even half cut now and my mood hasn't dropped. can't keep this maniac down
I'm mr happy clapper I will always look on the brightside, its only football after all come on you reds if the worst happens and we get relegated we have a good manager to get us back up. Always look on the brightside of life you only get one...
Bri, I'm not worried. The passing and heart and organisation I saw in that 2nd half was so encouraging. As long as we can stay in touch with safety in the next month, we'll improve hugely under this manager. Wes Brown alone makes me confident we'll survive!
Just pulling your plonker, its early days and the pack are just about in touching distance.........the next win must come soon though.
I'll believe we can escape until it's mathematically impossible but it's not looking great. That first half was one of the worst I've had the misfortune to watch - 2 poor teams. However, I've seen enough in the games to date to believe, if we get a bit of luck, that we'll do it. If there were 10 games to go and we had to make up 7 points I'd fancy us. KTF
I think we need 9 points by the end of the Norwich game to be still in touching distance by Christmas. If we don't get that I can see January spending to be in line with preparing for the championship, If we get the 9 and only be 6 to 9 points from safety I say spend 20+ million to keep us up.

i think we have a master tactition in Gus mind, something we've been lacking for years and years and years

I'm no happy clapper but I'm still not too worried yet. Let's see how November goes. We're in the ****ters but we're not there on our own just yet, and not cut adrift yet.

but Poyet has no experience in the premier league and the defenders don't have clue, then Clattermole throws his weight in (excuse the pun) so to speak and there you have a pathetic set up from the top right down.
