The thrills and spills from our American cousins continues tonight and I am backing the Europeans to continue where they left off and for Aiden O'Brien to land his elusive Breeders Cup Classic. 7:43pm ROMANTICA 11/2 A very smart filly who looked very classy on penultimate start. She has looked very good on sounder surfaces and was given an easy time of it once her chance was gone against the mighty TREVE on very soft ground last time. She can give that Arc form a boost here. 11:40pm WISE DAN 6/5 (NAP) This guy hammered some good ones last year and Olympic Glory on fast turf will not be seen to best effect. Cristoforo Colombo is a great each-way price because he will be held and switched for a late rattle and has been aimed at this fast turf for some time. Nothing should get close to Wise Dan though. 12:35am DECLARATION OF WAR 13/2 This horse has ran well in every Group 1 in the UK this year, bar perhaps the Lockinge. He is the first real Ballydoyle horse to try this with a dirt pedigree and they sounded very happy with his work at Southwell recently. His form ties with Toronado/Dawn Approach (beaten 2.5L giving them 8lb), Moonlight Cloud (beaten 3L giving her 3lb), and Intello (beaten a head, giving him 7lb) means his lateral form is outstanding in the context of this event. He is a genuine 1m-10f horse, and if he takes to the dirt like I think he will, from what is a great draw, he really will have a chance here and in fact I expect him to improve again for the switch to the US.
for some strange reason ?--i have done a lucky 15 on untappable sweet lulu new years day big blue kitten just to maintain a bit of interest....
I like Dec of War and was puzzled at him being entered in a dirt race. I am now aware of his breed type, and may well do an ew on him. And although I don't really want The Fugue to fail, I'll be looking for ew value elsewhere!
As I kid myself I know a little bit about NH racing my recent form suggests the chances of nailing some winners across the pond are somewhere between slim and nil. However circumstances allow me a rare opportunity to skip the usual Saturday evening tellybox garbage and tune into ATR. So a little small stakes lucky 15 on the following to make it a little more interesting: Dank, The Fugue, Secret Circle and Declaration of War Good luck all striking a wager this evening.
I'll second - erm I mean third that Chan! You are doubly lumbered now! Although to be fair I did have a couple last night Edit: winners - obviously
on a totally unrelated note, can anyone believe Rory McCilroy has knocked it in a super fit tennis player? FFS.

Nah not really. I suspect the next one will be equally as super fit, and the one after that. If you've any doubts about that google DJ Chris Evan's back catalogue of beautiful girlfriends. His Missus is pretty decent too.
Cue Mrs Merton's question to Debbie Ash a few years ago "What is it that attracted you to millionaire Paul Daniels?" Probably explains some of my horror shows
