Ruddy made three saves. He had a, relatively, poor performance by his standards and he was one of our weaker performers. Cant blame him for most of the goals, but we concede with about 70% of shots on target, not just in this game, but every game so far this season. I really don't see what can be done about that.
Evening mate... You have just got to take this one on the chin I'm afraid. I know it hurts like hell but this is Man City after all and not bloody Colchester!
I am starting to think Holt leaving has affected the character in the squad. We just don't seem to have that spirit which we had a couple of years ago. I don't think Hughton is going to last much longer, I don't think he is a bad manager but it just is not working with him at the helm. This isn't just this season but the whole calendar year has been dreadful. He's been given the chance to bring his players in, but he just can't seem to get the best out of them.
I'll start with an attempt at positivity. It was horrendous again today but the league is wide open, one win and we can fly up the table. We have the players, we'll have funds available in January so the New manager has ever chance of getting us to mid-table still. We are and will be premier league for Good few years yet! COYY OTBC bye and thanks very much for your endeavors Chris, now p#as @ff!
The thing is as bad as things may seem to some we are not actually in a terrible position. Which is amazing considering. We have been that bad but not cut adrift......yet
I'd personally look abroad (I think we did that too before appointing CH?) and try to unearth another Poccetino (sp). Perhaps that German chap who always gets linked with mid to upper end PL jobs - Ralf Rangnick?
Exactly they're not inspiring confidence in anyone, did you see any of them give our players direction or call the lads over after we conceded? Nothing, shoulders down staring at the floor, that's not how leaders behave they need to communicate, I thought Elmander showed better leadership skills in the second half rather then both of these two put together for the whole season so far.
Hughton has good qualities, but he is simply not up to guiding a team into the top half of the Prem. He will come back after we sack him by taking a lower level championship team into the play offs and perhaps even the Prem, but that will be the limit of his achievement. Not even sure he's as 'nice' as everyone makes out - i doubt if Fox or Becchio think he's cuddly. He's failed. McNally, please, bite the bullet.
Believe me boys as a long suffering Town fan who has had to tolerate a few years of humiliation especially at the hands of you boys I have waited a long fecking time for this.... BUT I actually feel a little sorry for you! Do I Fook as like........!
Saddest thing of all is that CH spends £13.5m on two ostensibly exciting strikers, both proven at their previous clubs - plus Elmander, and manages to coax one (1) goal out of the three of them in ten (10 ) league fixtures. If we could maybe downgrade him to chief scout, but please get someone else in who can get the best out of the undoubtedly good players we have at the club
Thats just stupid and shouldn't have much to do with any of this. He is not "nice" because he didn't pick a player? And don't care too much if he is nice as long as he has integrity
For Nastastics goal Fer should of kept on the near post it was preventative, on Negredo's goal I thought Aguero was a fraction offside he got the assist too. I need to see the wall for Yaya Toure's goal it looked a bit too far back however that's Ruddy's job to organise that, didn't see the Bassong howler. It's mistakes which cost you in football this what I mean about keeping it neat and tidy.
OK, but I'm sick of hearing how nice he is. What has Becchio done to be treated the way he has? How has Fox gone from being a candidate for player of the season to persona non grata? The man hates skill and vision. He wants to be Big Sam except Big Sam sets up his team to concede one goal away in five games. Compare.
Unlikely, but it's the performance, or lack of. Had Norwich put up a fight today, maybe it could have been contained to 2, 3 or 4 goals, and any sign of a fight would at least offer a glimpse of hope, as it was, there was nothing on offer from them today.
Bit unfair really. Maybe they have been rubbish in training? Tbf Fox is not as good as people make him out to be, yes he has done well for us be he is not amazing. Also Fox was suffering from illness much of last season was he not?
People would definitely still want him sacked. The fact it was such a **** performance just reinforces peoples want for a new manager and sooner rather then later
