After this game?! It has been shot for weeks, one pasting after another. Glad we have a better defence under Hughton! What a joke! Without the improved defence I am struggling to stay on CH's side.
The thing is Melchett CH will have the injuries as an excuse for the sh*t performance, so no matter the result he will stay. Edit: now a possibility of 8-0 so could get him the boot!
I think there was positives to take from the Arsenal/Chelsea games. Today's game and United is a joke though.
Wow, this is a joke, there is no excuse for such a bad performance and the game has already gone away from us. I think we are really missing Tettey and Snodgrass. The worst performance since Fulham last year. As I write this Man City have scored again. Defensive nightmare. I think the last goal was offside, and two goals from deflections but I really am clutching straws, this is utterly humiliating and I don't think there are any subs we can make. Pilkington is our only player who you can say has actually done well.
Martin said the team were going to put in a performance for CH today ! How bad would it be if we weren't trying ? Can ANY of our resident CH love club see that this just isn't going to get better under him !!
The trouble as I see it is that there is no leader on the pitch. Looks like 11 lads pretending to play in positions they've been assigned to.
That contract was purely for the club, so when we go down in May they can get a bigger fee when he's on a long contract.

I think our collective predictions said it all the optimistic amongst us went for 3-1 I went for 5-0 more out of hope than expectation! Bah!
