    Remy looks a quality player.

And as I say that he scores another good goal with his left foot.

Wouldn't mind a bid for him, QPR will be eager to get him off their wages as proved by accepting a loan bid so anything around £6m-£8m should do it.

Chelsea are playing Ivanovic up front here. Newcastle made the most of his absence at RB

Would he like to be 3rd choice though?

Got a feeling Newcastle might get him on a permanent, or perhaps Everton when Lukaku goes back??

Shouldn't make any difference, if so makes our game even more important to win - we need to exploit these opportunities <ok>

Would he be 3rd choice? I'm working on the assumption that Suarez goes, and even if he stays, Remy could quite easily slot into the left wing in a 433 and be effective.

For a team with so much attacking, creative talent they play really boring football.

Got to be really unlucky for them to both get 3 points against each other and go above us <yikes>

I'd hope we go for someone a little better than Remy if we were replacing Suarez.

Yeah true. Would definitely be a decent buy for the money.

If Suarez goes I fully believe we'll get a 'marquee' striker for the money received - but good shout about the left side <ok>

6 in 13 for QPR last year.

6 in 7 for Newcastle this year.

Apparently too good to be 3rd choice for us, but not good enough to be a starter?

Everyone is saying we need more quality upfront as we can't realy in just 2 forwards, yet a player could be available for under £10m who although hasn't been in the Prem long has scored goals at both clubs at a good rate as well as being different to what ew currently have (pace, power & decent in the air).

He'd be a hell of an improvement on our current attacking options from the bench which are Aspas & Sterling!

He isn't too good to be 3rd choice for us, he's just got more to offer than being an impact sub/occasional starter for us. Its ok for Man City & Chelsea to have these senior strikers in reserve like Jovetic, Ba, Eto'o & Dzeko because they can offer them massive wages to sit on the bench, we have not got the money to do that, so the reality for us is having youngsters like Sterling or players like Aspas from smaller teams. Look at Arsenal, they have Bendtner as a 2nd choice striker, Man Utd have a youngster bought from Mexico and a youngster from their academy.

On the other hand he isn't a striker that can win games single handedly like Suarez and he'll never be one of Europe's elite strikers so I'm not sure how he'd be worthy to replace Suarez? And if we did replace Suarez with a player for a fee of about £8m then I'm sure most people would be quite pissed off.
