It's not the strikers you need to keep quiet, it's the midfield. That bunch of forwards looked pants against us because we denied them any service. We can keep those strikers quiet for 94:55 of a game (assuming 2 and 3 mins injury time) but let a good ball get behind us and that 5 seconds is what gets you.

    I fancy a sneaky 1-0 win.

I had a dream last night. We won 2-0. Elmo scored the first after a goalkeeping blunder. Not sure who got the second but it was a back heel after a scramble in the box (maybe Boyd?).

Place your bets gents and thank me later haha!

So dreams come true, do they? I'd better wash my bits in preparation for Ms Johansson's arrival.

Hoping for a 1-0 win, but a draw would not be a bad result.

Just been told by a Yank and a Mackem that Altidore is the best player to ever play for our club ... he fooled me.

It's a sign of how well they have played that I would consider a draw a bad result today. We've had the 'honourable' defeats by big clubs in which we were 'robbed', and now it's time to reap the rewards of our good play with some three-point hauls.

That bench is a lot stronger than it might have been. Good news.

Think McShane has played superbly, however...... I would never have dropped Faye, don't think he deserves that

Looks like Aluko's injured himself in the warm-up

Aluko officially drops out due to injury. David Meyler comes in with Gedo now on the bench

I thought Faye was recovering from a little injury, hence he's not starting?
