Yeah he did look pretty good. Plays for Lille now. I never understood why Jelle van Damme never got a chance. He ended up playing over 100 games for Anderlecht and now plays for Standard Liege.

Had a decent free-kick on him too from memory, think he scored one against Chievo in a pre-season friendly once.

I thought Sparv was playing in Holland now, at least that's what Football Manager says!

Blayney plays in the Northern Ireland Premier Division now, actually won the title with Linfield....

Aristotle De Carvalho - also known as Totti. He had better potential than both Alex and Theo. At the same age, he would of made them both look average players. He now plays his football in Cyprus for some 2nd division club.

Most pointless loan signing ever that one surely? Think he only made about 3 sub appearances.

Andrei Pereplyotkin, when he came over from Ukraine he got rave reviews playing for our youth and reserve sides. Dubbed (prematurely) as the next Shevchenko.

a bit contradicting there!! has better potential than Alex and Theo, but plays in a 2nd division Cyprus side? lol

Seriosuly though, I understand what you mean and that a lot of these players just don't develop well enough, due to lack of 1st team/competitive football for them
