Great Docu on ITV about motorcycle road racing...legends those chaps, especially compared to the garbage that is F1 or kittylitter moto GP'S.

One mistake from these guys and they are wrapped around a lamp post.

Been to the fabulous NW200 before I was exiled here and it is still so capivating and excillerating..six riders racing line abreast going into York corner hairpin before blasting up Station Road.

NH jockeys are hard but these guys are warriors, crazy at the same time.

My fav sports man of all time, after the Tiger fella, did this madness..the peerless Joey Dunlop...legend in every sense of the word.

Does that mean now that 7/4 is great value for tidal bay?

    Same here. :emoticon-0107-sweat

Anyway, was thinking, why isn't Tidal Bay going for the Charlie Hall? Doesn't make sense to me. I mean, its not like the hurdle race is a handicap and he's well in or anything. And for that reason, i am out.

One that I really like the look of today at a nice price is Jeremy Scott's Notarfbad in the Listed Byrne Group Handicap Chase (2.10 Ascot). The Alderbrook gelding needs 2 miles on goodish ground and gets that today and I'm confident the silky smooth hands of Noel Fehily can get him into a nice rhythm. He is an exuberant horse, and last time out under Richard Johnson he fizzed along at the head of affairs with some beautifully measured leaps. The pairing were a little unfortunate to meet the 2nd last and last on a bad stride but the horse corrected himself well and got over the obstacle safely. This did check his momentum slightly, alllowing Easily Pleased (who had previously bolted up at Newton Abbot) to get closer to him but Notarfbad simply pulled out more on the run-in and won quite cosily in the end. That was off a mark of 121 and he is put up 6lbs to 127 today but he is race fit and if Fehily can bounce him out with the pace then he could just run these into the ground. Many of the field will either need the run or have bigger targets this season and I think Notarfbad has been cleverly placed in this and at 12s he looks a stonking e/w bet.

    Morning all,
After a week with more losers than a Big Brother house i have decided that the following are my picks for today so should be avoided at all costs!!!<laugh>

Down Royal 1.20 Gilt Shadow 7/2 2nd to The Liquidator in the Punchestown grade 1 bumper and must go close.

Down Royal 3.05 Texas Jack 4/1 Last seasons novice form looks good if you can forgive one bad run a Cheltenham he has a great chance with Ruby on board.

At Wetherby haved backed Long Run and like the look of More of That in the last. Avoiding Ascot like the plague as it looks like a bookmakers benefit day!
    Good luck all <ok>

    Ascot 3.20

    Buddy Bolero 8/1 E/W

He is fit enough to do himself justice and runs well fresh, expected to put up a bold show today.

    Good Luck
