I didn't say the team are demoralised although they certainly wouldn't admit it if they were. (I've never seen a team say, "We're demoralised after that defeat and feeling sorry for ourselves." ) I said it was a demoralising defeat, which it was, indicating a degree of demoralisation not total and irrevocable. 2 entirely different things, easily discerned by even an average brain. If you choose to believe the contrary, and that the team would be enthused by defeat and not at all bothered, then that's entirely your choice. If Sunderland players weren't bothered about being dumped out of the cup I'd be upset and certainly not as pleased as you appear to be. Incidentally, unless you know the players, which you don't, you have no more idea about how they're feeling than I do. And that is a fact.
