Does/did anyone watch the Western series Deadwood, with Ian McShane as a dubious saloon/brothel owner? Completely off topic of course!
Oddy...reminds me of my student days..! Not punting tonight but big day planned tmz..Off to Down Royal (13 miles away),second half of the Goonas/Pool game and then Cafe Naz curry before last 5 BC races in the Errigle Inn...ahhh Bisto..! Wexford was fab..loads of room, great service and a change from the likes of Aintree,Chester and York in that the place was pisshead free...highly recommend it to all.I was at the Opera on Sat (shared festival) but admittance was a mere â¬5 to the racecourse on Sat and â¬10 on Sunday. Hotels are expensive and dining out the same..roughly â¬25 per main and other dishes/sides extrapolated from that.A beer costs â¬5 which is £4.20 in real money. The people are lovely and well worth a trip Didn't price the Fanny Salmon..don't want to RV all hot and bothered and heading for the travel agents!
It's absolute quality Oddy - everything you could want from a TV show - bad language, violence, sex and nudity plus some of the dryest humour ever It ran for 2 or 3 series, which I watched first time around, and am now watching again on CBS Action when I spotted that they were starting from S1 E1
Dex - a man of quality and breeding - races, opera, curry and bevvying in one post - it doesn't get better than that
Aiden O'Brien talking to Fanny ............... giving it plenty of "listen" and actually calling her Fanny ......... "Thanks very much Fanny"
