I'd quite like them to get through, more fixtures. Still losing at home to Hull would also be delightful.

I think he is pretty good actually. Remember him playing for City when we played them in the League Cup, and he was unbeatable. Also rarely let's them down whenever he has featured in the FA Cup. Clearly not as error prone as Hart.

Funny thing is, is that Hart was never like this, always Mr Reliable. I think his confidence is shot. Maybe he needs to be dropped. I don't know.

England Goalkeeper Disease. Picked for the national team, make some sort of howler, get pulled apart in the press and then anything else gets blown up, whether it's at club or international level.

Going to watch Dortmund on BT Sport tonight, ahead of our clash with them on Wednesday. Not that there is anything new to learn about them or anything, but they are normally always a joy to watch.

I'd take Pantilimon here as competition for Chez.

Replacing Kagawa with Reus was the best bit of business any major club in Europe has done for a while. Reus is easily a top five player for me.

Dortmund murdered Stuttgart. If they play like that against us, we're going to look really really bad.

A quick comparison to the same point last season:

Arsenal are 7 points better off and 5 places higher up the table (6th - 1st) and currently have a point more than last seasons champions Utd did after 9 games.

United are 7 points worse off and 6 places lower down the table (2nd - 8th) and currently have a point less than Arsenal did last season after 9 games.

City are 5 points worse off and 4 places lower down the table (3rd - 7th) and currently have a point more than Arsenal did last season after 9 games.

Chelsea are 2 points worse off and 1 place lower (1st - 2nd) and so are in a very similar position to where they started last season.

Tottenham are 2 points better off and in the same place in the league and so like Chelsea are having a very similar start to the season as last year.

Liverpool are 10 points better off and 9 places higher up the league (12th - 3rd) and currently have more points than any of Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal (last seasons teams fighting for top 4) did after 9 games.

From the above the most interesting things for me are that Utd and City should be getting much more stick from the media - we got slated for how we started last season and i'm not sure everyone has realised that both manchester clubs are down in 7th/8th. And that Liverpool have had a hugely better start to the season and look like they may well challenge for top 4 this season, which i really didn't think was a possibility this season before a ball was kicked. And of course it's nice to point out how much better we are doing this time around!

We're better than Stuttgart, but Holy **** ... Dortmund are ruthless. It's going to be a really tough night next week and we're going to have to be at our very best to get anything out of the game. A draw would be a great result given the context of the group too.
