Is it now a sin for someone to say that they expect to be top 4? All managers of big teams say that without having to qualify their sentences with words like "conversation" and "benchmark" and "consistency" ?
Why is this thread not closed yet This is an attempt to point the "delusional" finger at us sm1thy Everyone concerned thinks it would be fantastic to get top 4 with the competition this season. No one expects it is a done deal. Thing is Man City United and Spurs are not guaranteed top 4 either, I think Chelsea and Arsenal are pretty much and gotta say it, although Everton fans will rightly play down finishing in the CL places, they have beaten Chelsea and most other teams once they got over the initial couple of getting to know you games with martinez. But until 20 games have been played it's anyone's guess, only Arsenal and Chelsea look to be safe bets
It is NEVER a done deal for anyone until the turn of the year... very interesting choice...Arsenal? I and most fans would put City as bankers together with Chelsea. Realistically then, for me it is United, Arsenal and Spurs fighting for that remaining place...

Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd will occupy the top three spots come the end of the season. Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool will battle for fourth but I suspect Arsenal will get it. Everton will claim their regular seventh spot
I have a sneaky feeling that Utd will miss out. City & Chelsea defo in the top 4. Spurs, Arsenal & us fighting for the other two places with an outside chance Everton & Southampton will be in the mix as well. It would make life a lot simpler if we just won the b****y thing!
