Jake Livermore has sensationaly hit out at his parent club Tottenham Hotspur claiming he'd "gone stale at Tottenham" due to a lack of faith shown in him by Foreign manager AVB.

He also Slams the club saying he wasn't made to feel part of the clubs future, and that he wasn't given a chance.

"it's nice to come somewhere I feel wanted and feel central to what the team is trying to achieve, I don't think the biggest problem facing English football is producing players, I think the biggest problem is giving young players enough experience in the Premier League. You need to get an opportunity in order to take one. Some clubs give those opportunities, others don't, and I've come to Hull to get one"

In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Sky Sports he also claims that Spurs are not that far ahead of Hull, and that more players could move in an effort to secure first team football

"I don't see playing for Hull as a backward step. I've seen players leave Spurs and go on to realise their full potential. Look at Kevin-Prince Boateng, he couldn't get a look-in at Spurs. Six months later he's playing week in, week out at AC Milan. You have to make sure you do what is right for your development"

He also had one more stinging attack on his former manager AVB claiming he was shortsited in letting him go

"Managers are so wrapped up in trying to win the next game because that's the most important thing for the club"

All this leaves his return to White Hart Lane highly unlikely and could pave the way for other England internationals such as Andros Townsend, Aaron Lennon and Jermaine Defoe to leave the club.

-Note- this was take from the SKY sports site, however I felt the article was a little to balanced (read boring) so I may have sensationalised it a bit.

Defoe's contract talks have stalled and maybe it's time for Lennon to leave but not Andros I hope. Hull is a backward step because they'll probably be relegated soon if Bruce's traditions continue.

The real truth is that he isn't good enough for us. If he was he would have played more games. He played games last season through injuries but he wasn't good enough for where we wanted to be.
I like(d) his attitude and work ethic but i didn't jump for joy seeing him in the starting XI

  8. Meh.

These are the words of yet another "prospect" who, whilst undoubtedly of Prem league standard, is not good enough as a top 4 team regular, and it's top 4 that Spurs want. Plus, Livermore was given plenty of chances, enough certainly for a decision to be made as to whether or not he was good enough to warrant a regular starting place.

I read nothing more in his words other than sour grapes.

I was bored so I thought I'd be a journalist and make stuff up.

Before I say anything the Sky report looks like a load of cobbled together quotes, might be wrong, but if Jake wants a permanent move this is one way of going about it.

Of course he'd gone stale at Spurs - other than being brought on as a sub to chase the ball for the last ten minutes in games we were winning, what other use did he have?

Think the interview was with Telegraph Sport, not Sky Sports, Sky just copied it to their site.

Nonetheless, he makes points about chances to English players, though as much as we'd all love him to succeed here, deep down I think he comes up just short in regards to the standard we need to reach our ambitions.

He's a Spurs fan so I doubt his comments were meant to be taken in the way suggested, media always wrangle ****.

The Townsend/ Lennon/ JD stuff is just a load of journo crap.

Rose was saying similar things and has ended up staying to try and cement a place in the team.

Townsend just signed a new contract, FFS!

As for KPB, he wasn't even playing for Milan six months after we sold him!

Well done spotting that, getting the timeframe wrong doesn't detract from the point he's making though.
