We'll need one on Saturday. But what has been your most "Fulhamish Moment"? My most memorable is, 'Beating Hamburg and then losing in Hamburg". [Paradoxically both were marvellous occasions.]
I think C58 has a good point here. With what's been going on with the lack of results etc this is the chance to maybe put some perspective on things. Im not a Fulham supporter because of the glory (that we've never had, discounting promotion to the prem) but the Europa run was amazing and one I'll never forget. For me there are loads of Fulhamish moments. Simon Davies equalising in the final - I thought we could do it. The ever gracious Woy at the end. You could see it hurt. The Juve game, the score board illuminating the fact we beat one of Europes giants. Danny Murphy slotting the penalty at Portsmouth to stay in the Prem. But for me it was George Best nutmeging the Sheffield United right back at Brammall Lane and laughing at him as he shot past. That's Fulhamish. That's what Fulhamish is for me. Those amazing but extremely brief glimpses of genius and togetherness. You might add the Kasami goal in there too for good measure. Lets all get behind the boys. COYW
You are right apart from that. It was a header and Danny said that he would be probably told off by Roy for being out of position... Will be behind the boys, but the the boys need to try too Come on Fulham
For me the most Fulhamish moments are the ones that make me laugh. I've mentioned it before, but a pre-Christmas midweek home game against Burnely and what felt like the whole Hammersmith End singing a version of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' where every present was the appropriate number of Danny Cullips. DC then came off the bench to head the only goal of the match in the 89th minute in what turned out to be the last game of his Fulham career. If you'd scripted it, it would have been rejected for being too far-fetched.
We all wondered how it was Danny scoring, even that he was in the penalty area. Without which we'd not have had an hour of celebrations in the ground afterwards. Now if Sascha (clearly our best player) could just do that tomorrow..........
Fulhamish: In the Hammy End singing "let's all cheer for Torquay" when they had 20 fans, then they scored. (Apologies - I may have posted this previously) C O Y W
