The punishmet of the so-called fans.

Can anyone explain to me the apparent inconsistency of judicial sentencing in the UK?

Front page of the Metro today; a guy punches his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach; in pain, she goes to the hospital next day and discovers her eight week old foetus is dead; the thug (with a rccord of physical violence) gets a 16 week sentence.

A Newcastle football fan punches a policeman’s horse; he gets a 12 month jail sentence.

Chris Huhne and Vicky Pryce tell porkies to the police, parliament and everyone who matters over their ‘speeding offence’; perjury in court; eventually admit their sins and are sentenced to 8 months in jail; leave the prison after serving only eight weeks!

Rovers and City fans who act like pratts and misbehave publicly will not only serve a sentence of some sort if found guilty, but receive life long bans from the football grounds. Now that’s double whammy isn’t it?
I don’t have any patience with the behaviour of the animals who have disgraced our football teams, but surely the principle of the sentencing system is that it punishes the miscreants for their wrong doing and the ‘slate’ is then wiped clean, encouraging a fresh start and a more responsible citizen.

 

Yeah there is definately something wrong with the sentencing in this country, but then we have known that for years. Football fans always seem to get a raw deal anyway.

 

A bit of an insult to the animal kingdom to call these losers animals but anyway there not fans there just yobs I say ban them for life I don't want them anywhere near are stadium or are club

 

great thread which im surprised that there aint many comments on this. i for one will never get the sentancing in the uk.

a *****phile can do what they do and get next to no time for it and are then protected when they come out of prision where their neighbours who has kids should be entitled to know about who lives next door yet they dont.

Lifetime ban from sitting in a moving car.

 

if caught smoking in a pub then 5 years in prison

 

If caught smoking pot while having sex in a public park.......a free all paid for week's holiday in Jamaica

 

kill someone with a spoon its a 3 year sentence
kill someone with a fork its a 2 year sentence
kill someone with a knife its a 1 year sentence

 

Castration for all those guilty of supporting BCFC (1982) Ltd.
