as i said in the other thread , there are safer alternatives that could be controlled and distributed/licenced by the club Issued to approved fans who bear responsibility to how they use them inside the ground The club should also set up a few areas where they can be used - safely and a nearby steward can ensure they are disposed of correctly Surely that should stop any wrongdoings - edit maybe it could be put to the fans group meeting with the Owners representatives
I wish they would take the problem of supporters wishes for better atmospheres in grounds seriously , they might have fewer people risking custodial sentences in their own misguided attempts to improve the atmosphere On the other hand if you throw them at other people you should be locked up for been a ****ing moron
So, how many people were injured or killed by these dangerous things at this game? 100? 50? 10? 0? My guess would be none. More people will be killed on the roads travelling to away matches. Of the list of clubs with three or more flare related incidents for 2013-14, we don't appear to be on there, surprisingly. Good news. I look forward to seeing this in the HDM as I was under the impression that we had a bit of a problem from the article the other day. I'm so pleased it all seems to have been just a simple bout of over-reactive negative reporting. Still, they talk **** about the Rugby fans too so all is fine.
But still no answers to how many were choked or incinerated in any of the clips which have been posted on here. Could that because no one was. Maybe people in these places are made of sterner stuff than our delicate fans.
Seen a few flares at City in recent seasons, never seen the remotest danger of risk, burning, panic, asthma, famine etc The 'dangers' are completely overstated by those who have a vested interest in appearing 'vigilant' for our 'safety'. Utter spurious ****e.
Organise it and take this brain-dead point scoring g out of the equation. Too many ex-hooligans trying to live out their dreams.
Maybe the club could organise it. Goalscoring pyrotechnics in time to the goal music? Why stop there, what about cheerleaders too? Or better yet, piped crowd noise through the speaker system.

I really fail to see the point in taking them to a game anyway. They don't even look good, they stink of ****, make your clothes stench like a half rotted dead badgers arse, more than one at a time blocks the view of the pitch, sometimes one on its own can, they just don't add anything. All they are is ****ing annoying.
