guys I received a phone call from a Debt Collection Agency saying I owe money. The company are wanting me to pay 4 weeks notice which should be £280 quid but they are asking for nearly £700 I paid my final bill and have proof what would you lot suggest I do? will this affect my credit rating?
Let them bring you court, show receipt in court and when case is dismissed, sue them for expenses. Teach the ****ers a proper lesson
Child care ffs My daughter hated nursery so had to swap, I took her out of one for 4 weeks paid for that and told them I was taking her out because they didn't make it fun for her (they admitted they couldn't make her happy) this money is for 4 weeks notice you are meant to give them ****ing does my head in as if paying 40 quid a day isn't bad enough
MTMB, I'd first check the provenance of the Debt Collection Agency - are they who they say they are? - & then go and talk to the Citizens Advice Bureau to check your Rights.....& then take Eire's approach if the CAB confirm this won't land you in any further bother.
Cheers mate will give them a ring, never missed a payment on anything, will this already go against me? I can afford to pay it but don't believe I should. How can someone pass a debt on to collectors when the person who supposedly owes the debt has never received a letter
Jaysus Wakefield, I think you've been on that other site for too long, I didn't think you could get any grumpier...
I think you could be right Mighty, now I'm not the most optimistic supporter at the best of times, but bloody hell this forum has got even more depressing than usual........
Time for some of the doom and gloom merchants to phar koff back to JA. Things are a long way from being perfect, but we're in a much healthier position now than we've been for a long time.
Never heard of him, but we do need a proper scouting network. ps: Just got my ticket for next weekend. Who's coming to Charlton?
I'll find my seat No. when the ticket actually arrives in a day or three. I might get to the Antigellican before the game, bbut I'm running in Greenwich. So timing might be tricky. Either way, looking forward to the game.
