Erm, the fans and players perhaps? Trust me, morale is very high. Bruce has so far avoided every question designed to drag him into an anti-Sunderland quote, perhaps that will change in the coming days. I'm eating my words on Steve Bruce so far, as I was one that wouldn't have wanted him, and so far he really has been a revelation to me and has created the best City side I've seen, so I could be wrong again when I say, the impression I get is that he'll be building up to this as another game to try maintain premier league status. Giving their all for each other is an ethos built into the team for every game, I struggle to see how they could do that more, in fact it could work against us to try.
I vaguely remember Hull fans being this full of themselves last time they fought above their weight, so not much changes down south does it?
The indignance on your part seems to be us not tugging our forelock to you. We're all predicting a tough game, once again it's you lot get huffy that we have the nerve to not see you as a team that will steamroller us. Being happy with steady growth and keeping it in perspective is hardly being full of ourselves.
That's what you want him to do, so you can get up on your horse. In reality, he hasn't said anything derogatory about his time at Sunderland. And City fans haven't been big headed. Simply saying we believe our team can win a tight match against a relegation rival isn't taking the piss.
I think it's obvious that there's more deluded and derogatory Sunderland fans than there is decent. DMD has stated the obvious and the herd mentality has kicked in. Quite funny actually, because the more and more they try to make DMD look stupid, it's actually backfiring hilariously.
On my high horse, yet i reffered to him as Big Steve B, if i was waiting to have a pop at him surely i would have said something like 'fat mag loving twat' or 'dirty black and white bastard', yet i said neither of those things, so maybe you are just making assumptions about myself. Also, yes i have been expecting him to say something, but maybe time has mellowed his bitterness out, and he is fairly content at Hull.
And neither is it taking the piss if we say it, something that some people seem to be missing. I said, "No one's expecting an easy win, just saying that it's a good time to play you." Apparently that means I must have mental problems according to your friend. If he's a mod then he's of a very low standard compared to ours tbh.
They are collectively, just about the most blinkered supporters I have encountered outside of Newcastle, which makes it very easy for us to extract the urine..
"In reality, he hasn't said anything derogatory about his time at Sunderland." If that's reality then it isn't the planet I live on .........
Oooh, now come Pinocchio, don't you be trying to reinvent history when what you actually said in full is written on this very thread.
As I said, what you actually said in full is written on this very thread. Ah, you're trying to wriggle away from the foolish, ill-informed part of your post that is under discussion. Nice try.
There's nothing 'foolish' about it .............. you're just coming across as the arrogant knob you claim not to be. Anyway ............... let's say that Hull have won in the last 4 games, won't be tired after a night trip to London with extra time & penalties, won't be upset at losing and have no injuries. Let's say they'll be fresher than Sunderland, who didn't play this week, despite Hull having to play again in 3 days time. There you go, I've taken it all back, what on earth was I thinking about
Based on your initial post, you don't seem to have been thinking at all. You now seem to have leaped to another bizarre set of conclusions, probably based on the same lack of logic and knowledge you showed yourself up with in the first place. Assuming you know more than others, especially when the others are in possesion of more knowledge, is the mark of a real arrogant knob and/or a **** wit. PS, I've neither claimed to be or not to be an arrogant knob, I'm guessing that's just another symptom of your deluded and tortured mind.
If there new owner was on the ball he would be renaming the club Hull Knuckleheads, because going by some of their fans posts on here it would be very apt..
Can you speak a bit clearer, your geordie accent makes you difficult to make out. It's possible there's sense in your words, so it'd be a loss if the world outside geordieland missed them.
