Im not alone. More and more people are seeing it, especially those that go to games.

People who dont watch are just glad to be top, 2nd, 3rd... what happens when that gets to 8th, 10th or 12th?

No, just can't bear the thought of ending up sitting next to you at Loftus Road.

Only joking, Flyer. Least your consistent.

And, yeah, I live up North.

The thing is, whilst we all hate it, it's marginally better than getting stuffed every week like last season. OK, it's not as swashbuckling* as under Warnock, but maybe, just maybe, this is the right formula to keep us within a shout of going up? Perhaps the Hoops will go up whilst we're all asleep and we'll wake up once again in the PL, all ready to get stuffed every week once more.

[*it wasn't swashbuckling at all; the Rs won a number of games by larger margins, but I didn't find it that pretty to watch most of the time]

I enjoyed the games under Warnock in the NPC. Win lose or draw, we were great to watch.

Redknapp games are the worst Ive seen since Holloway. We are still playing the same way as when we got relegated. Try to keep it tight and sneak a lucky win. That will not take you up. Its mid table at best.

I won't disagree that Warnock's team was better to watch than Redknapp's so far, but I can't say that I particularly marvelled at the high entertainment and skill (yes, yes Taantrum aside, for those itching to give him a mention). The games that I saw were full of howitzers from Kenny.

Id take that rather than giving it to Henry!
Every game its 0-4 shots on target for both teams combined.

The old joke was watching wimbledon on teletext was more exciting than going to the game. Watching the QPR score on the net is more exciting than being at the ground.
Its not as if we are trying and failing to be good, we arent even trying. Redknapps football is utterly Terrible to watch. Its worse than Hughes stuff especially taking into account the opposition.

I think that game was there for the taking tonight if Harry had started with AJ
We are far to negative at the minute and need to change against Derby

We still didn't create anything even without Henry on the pitch. We DID look more vulnerable at the back though, so we might as well start him V Derby, Flyer?

It's a strange thing............a lot of people agree with you on this, but I found that season hugely entertaining. Taarabt running amok in a very fluid 3 behind HH was great to watch imo.

That was then and this is now
My feelings don't need to be entered here
We are currently in a strong position with a strong squad and have shown signs of being a very good team to get out of this league
We were at Wigan and. 0-0 will be a very good result come the end of the season IMO

What is again going on here is the old fickle disease again

We are not in a mid table position we are sitting pretty and maybe the pressure to perform will hit the two teams above us

I don't like things but I wouldn't call for a change now ... We see it all through together

I don't really wish to rake over old coals too much, Col, nor to denigrate the contribution and skill of that team. But I just feel there was an awful lot of Route One stuff that season. The fact was that Taantrum was a shining light that season that set the Rs apart from other sides, but (just in my opinion) this made it easier to ignore the howitzer stuff.

We are always saying how strange it is that two people can watch the same match, yet herald or pillory different players, see certain incidents differently and so forth. I guess this is one of those occasions.

Derby Saturday will be tough with SM knowing us, and them doing well with him. With Reading next it's a must win game otherwise the top 2 could open a up a gap on us. Time for Kranscjar (hope he's fit) and others to dominate and get the ball in the box and net.

Disagree with that. I must have been watching a different campaign three years ago.

More often than not, I thought our football was dreadful - but effective.

At least we kept a clea. sheet without him as he wasnt on the field to set up the opposition for goals.
