    This would be hilarious. Could there be any larger show of dissatisfaction with Ashleys regime? Like the fans, Pardew has been assimilated to accept Mikes ways.

    I was thinking that Palace would love Pardew at the helm. There's a big question mark in my mind now as to whether Pardew is a victim of circumstance, or part of the problem. I'd suggest that if he doesn't leave, he's as culpable as the owner and simply one of that clique.

    I don't think there is any doubt, walking out, particularly to another job, would do his reputation no harm at all. Obviously walking is not the done thing, and walking to the club rooted to the foot would look bizarre to some. His recent comments and demeanour suggest he is tiring of the circus that is Newcastle United (I use United loosely) football club

    If it was in the offing, he'd have already done it. Particularly before this sequence of likely defeats. Will look more lame walking out once Spurs hump us ad leave us within touching distance of the relegation places. That said, there's a lot of money in being sacked. None of us know the details, but I'm fairly sure Pardew's not exactly a man of integrity. That's not an unnecessary slight, by the way - if I were getting £30k a week to pick some players, and thought that resigning would get me 4 weeks notice or being sacked would pay up at least £1m if not a lot more, then call me Mr. No Integrity.

    To be fair think this story is a non starter, there are only two ways this would happen.

    1. As you say he's fed up with Ashley and the goings on here.
    2. He knows he's going to get the sack soon (which personally I don't think is going to happen).

    Personally think it's the mirror trying to get themselves banned to make Ashley look worse after their support of the NCJ Media ban.
