You can be in a in a ridiculous scenario where the game is at the score you predicted but you scorer hasn't scored. You are better off him scoring as that's worth the same as predicting the right score but you still get points for the right winner, not to mention an extra point if the opposition then score too giving you the correct different. IMO, the correct scoreline should be worth ten points.
It was only because Suarez got a hatrick that the bonus points meant you got less points. Normally you would have got more. I did say to everyone at the start of this season correct score had gone up to 7 in which most people were happy with. Said all along was more than happy for people to suggest alternative scoring systems or improvements if they wanted but no one said anything so assumed everyone was happy. Gerrez - you're point isn't correct. If you get correct score you get 7 points. If you get correct result/gd and scorer (assuming you predict a forward) you can only get 6 points. Therefore unless you take a risk and go for a defender/midfielder, which is riskier given the rest of our teams inability to score, or the odd situation where a player get's a hatrick, then you'll always get more for correct score then correct result & scorer. #rantover
Wasn't having a go at you IBWT It just seems silly that a correct score in a prediction league doesn't get you a decent wedge compared to everything else. For example, I finished fourth last year and currently sit fourth this year too, however I am yet to get a a correct scoreline.
I'm only pissed because for the first time in months I got a score right only to see I've still gone down anyway I just get bored predicting Suarez....it's no fun #stillafix
Don't bother moaning about the scoring system, lads. Bisc will win no matter how it's rigge.........er, set up.
