How come the first advert I see when I come in here is gaydar.com? A dating sight for young homosexual males and there is a pic of two men kissing, are you lot keeping something from me that I should know?
The adverts access your internet history and display something relevant. I'd keep quite about it if I were you.
Just a quick question guys. There's an advert on here that's a bit unusual, for "Zoophilia.com". Can anyone explain it?
well it does say young homosexual men and I'm obviously not young Got one for Russian brides too I might check that one out
This is what the new law on cookies is about. Adverts are tailored to your browsing history if you have enabled cookies for a certain level of access. Pretty soon they will need to ask if they (the site provider) can put a cookie on your machine.
Actually this is an interesting point, when I am on here not logged on I get dating sites, insurance offers and banking stuff. I really do'nt see how any of that relates to my internet activity. For the life of me I can't see the connection. What do other people get as advertisements when they aint logged in and can you figure how a computer programne would think you would be interested in their website
Oh I would have expected a more academic reply from the most intelligent poster on this forum. How is your little statistical analysis thingy coming on by the way?
Stop being a dirty old bugger? I don't start til July, I've found a flat in Leeds though, you'll be pleased to know.
