The thing is Chris Hughton was sacked for far less than Pardews current form of the last year. I'm still at lost of how Pardew survived after the Reading game. How he was sacked then I will never know but after the season before it may have been understanable to give him a little more time. Fact is nearly a year later we haven't really improved at all. Now he won't have the ready made excuse of Europe to fall back on like last season. The only reason why Pardew has the job mate is because he is completly malleable and doesn't ask questions.

 

We can go round in circles all we want. To a man, whether you side with Pardew or want the man crucified, everyone understands that any problems begin and end with Mike Ashley. Anything as to whether he's got Ashley's c0ck up his ar$e or whether he's just as big a victim as the rest of us is nothing more than guesswork, and we'll never really know the answer. In the absence of being able to replace the fat man - and by not attending games there's still no guarantee, because we're all aware he's a stubborn cnut if nothing else - what can we do?
