Great performance and no disgrace loosing in that penalty shoot out . No blame should go on any of our players . I notice Davies didn't take a pen as our captain I thought he would have done

When did we last play badly?

I think most will say Barnsley but I don't really think we were bad that day even.

    Make that child a tiger!

We've earned a lot of respect from the rest of the League from these two Spurs games and the Everton match. All of them could have gone our way and the last two we were playing a lot of our reserves. We've proved we have strength in depth and shouldn't fear anyone. Magnificent defensive efforts.

We can be really proud to say we are Hull City supporters. Let our former critics bite their tongues!!

Honestly, being a Hull City supporter is heart-burstingly ace at the moment. Feels much better than Autumn 2008.

Agreed. I dunno how Burnsy does a whole show after the match with some of the crap that gets texted or phoned in.

I honestly think Hull's defensive performances are excellent. Tottenham's two goals were just two odd moments of class.

The first turd who phoned in spoke about his young lad (Sperz fan) but he himself was an Arsenal fan (then he quickly corrected himself to say ....'oh and City as well like').

There is much work to do.

I profile myself as entrenched with hooked in the ascendent, but this buffoon was the worst kind of attached. Modern footy fan at his worst, no doubt a Barca fan too.

Can't fault the lads, our last 3 games have been Everton and Spurs (twice) and we've come from all games knowing we could have, and arguably should have come away with something. All the lads that have stepped in have really shown they're ready to fight for their places in the side and that they're reliable back-up when the time comes.

I honestly thought we'd won it when McShane the Messiah headed home but another touch of class put it beyond us. I hope the penalty miss doesn't harm Elmo's confidence too much, because he hasn't been himself this Season IMO. McLean missing a penalty didn't surprise me, nor do I think it surprised anyone else for that matter. Even the Jak had a good game, and he was unlucky to not have saved at least 5 of their penalties as he dived the right way on most of them, just that the quality of placement of the penalties made them virtually unreachable (Friedel had a Jak moment... Haha).

If we're going on the performances from the Chelsea game, to today's unlucky Cup exit, I can honestly see us staying in the League. We have a great bunch of players who have shown they are capable of going toe-to-toe with the 'big boys' regularly and playing openly and attacking as well as defensively and solid. Some more improvements in January, probably Shane Long at a compensation cut-price due to Clarke's tactical ****ing around in the dying seconds of Deadline Day and we'll be going from strength to strength.

We've got some vital, and winnable home games coming up and I can see us remaining an unbeaten home side through November into December. UTT!

First of all, that wouldn't have been hard. But I don't think he was.

With Newcastle also being at home on the same night our wonderful police decided that after the derby on Sunday they would not have the resources to police both games on the same night.

After that as Sky wanted to show the Newcastle game and the fact that Man City play in Europe next week they directed that our game be moved.

Because of the resource issue we were not allowed to play this Tuesday.

    So blame the Tory cuts!

So Cameroncand the twats have conspired to give Sunderland an advantage, probably hoping to cleanse the league of an unfashionable Northern Club.

Surely Sunderland are just as unfashionable and more northern?
