And? He leapt in studs showing, that usually, even with little contact, is considered malicious and would get a red. You know that if the shoe had been on the other foot, Quinn would be off.
I find it crazy that 2 games in a row a team with spurs quality is trying to play the counter attack at home against a team like us. They should be along this game by the throat and not even giving us a sniff of the ball.
My first half thoughts. Started poorly, and we paid the price for it. Great goal mind- take nothing away from Spurs. Tried to get back into it, but we're hampered by the formation. Bruce Jnr going off may help us. Although, i expect Spurs to come out and try kill the game off. Graham has had nowt to play off and is too isolated. He had one chance, but Kaboul made a great challenge to deny a tap in.
Since the goal they've dropped off and breaking forwards as fast as they can as soon as they get the ball.
Sagbo is the better of the two players at the moment. I'd rather he was not risked in the Capital One Cup when we have such an important game on Saturday. I'm actually quite worried about Saturday, not from a result point of view but with Cattermole, Bardsley and Gardner among the opposition it wouldn't surprise me if we took some injuries on Saturday.
Have to say i agree, i really do worry about our squad currently. But then again take the two best attacking threats from most sides and they will struggle. The key for me is keeping Livermore and Thudd fit, if they stay fit i fancy us to take anyone at home as them two with Boyd ahead of them and Sagbo up top will cause Sunderland plenty of problems.
Watching City in the Championship quite often the crowd (bothe set of fans) would sing ' You Dont Know What Youre Doing' I'm starting to get the impression in the Premier they know exactly what they're doing, and its not just us, ask Sunderland fans who have been experiencing it for years.
McLean for Graham apparently. 1 player who can't score for another. Hope Gedo comes on at some point.
Maybe the last few mins of the half. Anyway was impressed with the way we kept pushing them back while they just played tippy tappy sideways.
