Shola makes our side better in certain games. He draws fouls, wins headers and players like Cisse benefit from his knock downs. He causes trouble and should be given a chance until we can play better without him/.

Thats a poor reflection on us, not a good reflection on him. The fact we still have a need for him is beyond depressing

Howay man. Stop thinking of it as simply as "Shola's ****". He has good attributes that can be utilised.

Sexy passing football isn't the be all and end all of football.

I didnt say it was, I was simply saying the fact we have been relying on a championship striker, at best, for the best part of 10 years is a disgrace. He isn't "****", hes obviously better than me, hes just not up to standard. My comment was more of a pass at our striker policy rather than having a pop at Shola's limited ability

You look at the sides Man C and Chelsea last night put out, then you realise the gap. All PL teams have to change at least 2 or 3. Difference being we have only 2 you feel comfortable with (Anita and Haidara). Sissoko seems to have got the message about working, seems to be putting himself about, someone must have finally had a word. (only been watching 5mins mind) Any chances?

I agree with what you're saying, but I think certain games call for certain styles and tactics, and sometimes routine long ball football is effective. In these games we should play Shola, IMO.

Well at least with Shola in the box, someone is able to actually put a head to one of our corners rather than the all to familiar flying over the box out for a throw in on the far side

Have I just tuned at the right time or something? We look quite canny. Cisse couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo but otherwise.

We have to keep Anita in the team. He just keeps us ticking over so well. Sissoko is the new Jonas it seems tho

Good start. Quite a nice flexible formation. Not your standard 442 with players drifting in from right and left, getting numbers in the box. We'll regret missing these chances though.
