With Borini, Assiadi & Suso doing so well on loan, I think we have found the formula!

Here is a surefire way to ensure all loan moves are successful...

    Are they all doing well?

Borini and Assaidi dont even make the first 11 at there loan clubs. They both scored this week but I dont think enough has been done yet.

    Suso is doing well yes.

I'm more interesting in Coady and Wisdom.

Coady isn't doing too well at the moment and doesn't look like he's going to make it, not with LFC anyways.

Was hailed as the next Stevie G but I was left feelign rather underwhelmed when I saw him play - he's a leader and can put in a few good tackles but that's as good as it got.

    Next Gerrard.

    Like Spearing, Shelvey and Henderson.

Two are gone, the others more of our own Lampard.

coady needs to switch to CB.

why try to be the next gerrard when you can be the next carragher?

conor coady could do that but his issue is he need to prove it.

Assaidi is beyond useless. Borini has a 10% chance of being good enough for us (his movement off the ball is impressive -everything else in his game is substandard). Suso however looks like he would fit perfectly into the system, although he is a bit of a Coutinho-lite (and not as good).

Problem for Coady is that Sheffield U are doing very poorly at the moment. Hopefully Clough can get them playing better and that might get Coady moving again.

    Bit harsh...

Assaidi barely got a chance, Borini likewise but was also hampered by injuries...

Maybe a bit. I just don't see anything positive about Assaidi to comment on, he throws in a couple of stepovers, overruns it to the byline then puts in a late cross. He doesn't seem to have any other attribute to his game and I can't see him playing for us again. Borini for me was a signing by a man who was a bit unsure about his options when he arrived at the club. I think since then, Rodgers has managed to sign players of a more suitable calibre for where we're at. Borini to me is at best a mid-table side striker and always will be.

I think Borini will be a great bench option for us if he can get some playing time this season and knock in a few. Can't have a squad of great players, need people happy to rotate.

Assaidi maybe. He's got a box of tricks but didn't really get any game time to slot into our playing time and settle into a position. I've not dismissed him yet as he hasn't had time to show what he can do.

I'm one of the few that think Assaidi isn't all that bad - I refer to the WBA game in the league cup last season where he owned the left wing all game and put in some great crosses (1 to Yesil who should have scored, and he got the assist for the 3rd goal).

He never had a run of games so it was rather stop start but I feel if given the chance, he could be a useful squad player (at least an impact sub to run against tired legs).

Assaidi was apparently recommended by Jen Chang and Rodgers went with it - with it not being his own signing, Rodgers was less likely to use him.

Allen and Borini were familiar faces for Rodgers so he went for them. This was before the transfer committee was set up - since then, our signings have been brilliant.
