    If they spend that well enough they will absolutely dominate. As far as I'm aware no other french team has anywhere near that sort of money.

    They should go for Hazard.

    From what I've heard they won't have the funds to spend right away but they promised a lot of investment in the next 2-3 seasons ...

    I don't think it's necessarily money that will determine Gameiro...it'll come down to what league he wants to play in, whether he sees the club as a step up from Lille, and whether Lille would want or allow him to go to a competitor in Ligue 1.
    Also consider that wages are typically a lot less in France, so even if they have a deep pocketed owner, doesn't mean they'll take on wages competitive with big clubs in England

    But yeah, I thought PSG were his favourite choice after Valencia? They just didn't wanna spend the money on him.. if this is true though, then yeah it's probably gonna go tits up for us.

    ****fuck! Knew that. Just all this talk of Lille has my typing fingers forgetting any other french clubs exist. But my point stands that Lorient would probably prefer to sell him to a club outside of France.

    Haha. Understandable. Lille is the only French team at the minute ... need this Gervinho saga to end, one way or another!!

    Unsure on both of them to be honest, both Gervy and Gammy. Don't need our chances are very high for either of them.

    Agreed...I've intentionally tried forgetting about Gameiro, it just doesn't seem on the cards for us. Though I don't think he'll go to PSG either.

    I'm trying to forget about them both haha, so I'm not as disappointed if/when it doesn't happen.

    Most drawn out transfer saga in the world. It's ridiculous. Fed up of reading about it now.

    The most painful thing will be re-editing my FIFA team...Changed it out of boredom/intrigue to see what we'd look like with Gervinho, Cabaye and Menez in the team, didn't get Gameiro and played with Leon Best as a lone forward, Gervinho, Ben Arfa, Menez behind him, Cabaye and Tiote behind them...

    I done exactly the same. However I signed Gameiro and didn't bother with Menez.

    It'll hurt when I have to transfer several players away and put Neil Taylor at left back :(

    I've got Gervinho and Gameiro both playing for my career mode team, won't alter the actual teams until anything's official.. don't wanna get ahead of myself haha.
