David Ngog has refused to go to Sunderland;maybe that is what is delaying the
announcement of of Jordan Henderson signing. He is unlikely to be part of the
    deal for Henderson

The delaying of the Henderson signing has to do with Henderson being with the England under 21s.Everything is done,He will be unveiled when he returns from holiday.

Confirmed by Psycho during an inetrview today that both of the players wanted their transfer deals settled before joining the U21 squad.

If this is true, I would be a bit confused. David needs first-team games to progress and I feel he will get more games at Sunderland than at Liverpool.

This is what I found on the official site.
However this has not been confirmed by the club.
The deal is a £16 million cash deal and NOT the £20 million price quoted. This is 97% reliable as it comes from the Liverpool Echo.
David Ngog is not going to Sunderland as part of the quoted £20 million deal.Sunderland have instead accepted £16 million in cash.

Jordan Henderson will complete a £16m cash switch from Sunderland to Liverpool today.

But David Ngog will not be moving the other way as part of the deal.

Black Cats boss Steve Bruce wanted the French striker, rated by the Reds at £8m, to take the deal past his £20m valuation of the young midfielder.

But the deal will now be cash only, with Ngog staying at Anfield for the time being.

Henderson was at Melwood yesterday where he agreed personal terms and underwent a medical.

But paperwork at the FA and Premier League prevented the deal from being completed last night

There could be many reasons why he did not go to Sunderland. Perhaps he wants to stay and fight for a place. Perhaps KK said that he really didn't want him to move. Perhaps he sees his future back in France. Perhaps the wage structure at Sunderland didn't appeal. One thing for sure is that we will never know.

From what I made out from the official site tonight is,Liverpool have agreed a fee of £7 million for David Ngog to go to Sunderland, it was originally supposed to be part of the Jordan Henderson transfer, but could and this is could be concluded in another deal. The Henderson deal is £16 million in cash with add-ons taking the final sum to £20 million. However Ngog has yet to decide whether he wants to go to Sunderland. If he does,it means Liverpool will recoup some of the outlay they spent.

They need strikers so he'll get more games.

    Devastated he is still here.

He's not god enough for us, be he may do okay at Sunderland where he would get more games. Deal should 12 mill plus N'gog in my opinion.
