Be interesting to see what team Bruce puts out tonight against Spurs. He never cared for the cups here so I imagine a very weakened team with his focus firmly on Saturday
We haven't had that one, to be fair, Brucey has been very honest about every performance so far and after Nigel Pearson's interviews, his are most refreshing. He described our cup game against Huddersfield as 'like watching paint dry' and suggested that our home game against Villa should not only be last on MotD, but 'it should be last on the following weeks MotD'.
We had seven first team players out for the game against Spurs, we'll rest another three or four tonight, so it will be a completely reserve team. Problem is, several of the injured players might not make it back for Saturday either.
He has got a canny sense of humour and I hold nothing against him at all...he was fighting a losing battle from the start with some of our fans who couldn't/wouldn't accept him because he is a self confessed Skunks fan...This was kept under wraps when he was doing well, but when we lost Bent, and the going got tough, he was then on a hiding to nothing and it was best for all concerned when he left..

I agree there was no plan B once Bent dropped us in the ****e, and that is why I said it was better for all concerned when he did leave..His results against the mags were appalling which gave his detractors all the ammunition they needed..

You should be more thick skinned fella. It's us who have to associate with him and we don't scrimp on telling him to shut up. He's our embarrassment not yours, just laugh him off. Honestly though, you've done a ****e job of putting him in his place. He'd be offering everyone out now making a right fool of himself if you'd done a job on him.
