I can't remember much about it, to be honest. I was 8 years old.

It was a while before i went back to Boothferry Park.

I've been going with my dad almost all my life. I've definitely gone to a couple without him when he couldn't make it but I don't remember the games. My first game was apparently against Macclesfield and we won 2-0. I believe it was 98. Can't remember any of it myself.

This was the first game my dear old dad took me to and started my love affair with Hull City AFC -we were right behind the goal when Hawley cracked it in! I was 12 at the time and we went to every home game together for the next 15 years :D

Either Christmas day '54 or New years day '55. Grand-dad treated me...some big names....Bill Bradbury,Billy Bly, Brian Bulless, Andy "Jock" Davidson, Viggo Jensen, Douggie ("Nobby") Clarke, Stan Mortensen. Grandad said they were going to get promoted to the 1st Division...I think they were relegated to the 3rd that year ! It's been a long time coming.
I remember we walked from Anlaby Common (Dr Allam, get your wording right !) to the match. I was knackered as an 8 year old...no buses on whatever day it was.

And you think you're old "beyondthetouchline" ? Great days...even better now.

A 5-1 win vs Exeter at the end of the 1993/94 season. I think it was a freebie from school.

Uncles Charlie Forrest who worked for the HDM and Jeff Ringrose took me from Beverley to see the Manchester United 6th Round cup tie in February 1949. What an atmosphere...55,000 in the ground and thousands locked outside. Kids had to sit next to the touchline as the Well was full. I had just turned 10 years old. Unforgettable. "Silver Fox" captain Raich Carter the best player on the pitch. Best I've ever seen.

Wonder if you remember (through your uncle) Jack Davies - HDM official City match photographer ? His daughter was a pal of my little sisters - lived opposite us in Hessle in the '50's & early '60's. I was always envious of him getting into the games for free...and the fact he new all the players on a first name basis.

My first game was 93, away at Bristol Rovers, in bath. We lost but I was mascot. When the captains and the ref went to centre circle to do the toss, I took the ball off the centre spot, dribbled it down the Hull half and smashed it past Alan Fettis in goal. Apparently I got the only cheer from the city fans that day.

3rd of January 1994, day before my birthday, watching City v Burnley (my dads team!), lost 2-1. Still, was enough to get me hooked at 8 years old!

I can't remember my first game, or first few seasons, at all.

The first game I can remember was a 1-1 against Scarborough Town in 1999.

It was the biggest crowd I'd seen, nearly 15,000 (maybe).

We mullered them all match and Brabs finally popped up and netted one. Somehow they scored late on. Think they were bottom of the league before the draw.

The first game I remember being at, where I actually remember the opposition, was Forest in 1976 and that's only because it was Bremner's début.

We won 1-0 and Bremner scored the goal.

Went to that – 1-1 draw, ‘Big’ John Taylor who latterly played for Bratfud scored an early goal for them and I think it was Atkinson who levelled. We were right in the Play Off hunt under Doleworth that season.

Also, if I recall correctly, it came straight after a superb midweek 0-3 win at Brentford who were decent themselves. In fact, every time I’ve been to Brentford we’ve won – admittedly only been about three times, but still.
