The next 3 games will make or break this season. If we lose to Liverpool and ManUre, then it looks like we're fighting for 4th again, if we lose to Dortmund, then we're in serious danger of not making it out of the CL group.

I really dont understand this mentality . If we win on saturday then we get 3 points . If we win tonite we have a good chance of silver . If you write off ALL cup competitions so casually..........they will just slip thru our fingers and we will be left with FUCK all again . ALL of these games are important .

The worrying thing for Arsenal, is even though this is only the Carling, mentally you seem weak v clubs with winning mentalities. I thought you may have got over this in 13/14 but the Dortmund game allied to this may have shown otherwise

Not even close. Mad a mistake and had a decent (not great) performance otherwise. Flappy could have reacted faster but most blame is on him for that one. Bendy was by far our worst. Jenkinson is better than that. Remember when Bac wa splaying crap last season and we were all raving about him? Don't turn him into the next Ramsey.
what a chance we had to get a bit of silver , Knock Chelsea out , United far from their best , a golden opportunity wasted , sacrificed for Liverpool and 3 points . Maybe knocking Chelsea out would have INSPIRED us to beat Liverpool ? But now we go to them after a defeat . A triumph of stupidity .
Something about Arsenal showed to a lesser extent against Dortmund and was on display again tonight vs Chelsea. We lack the discipline and the penetration to deal with top sides who defend in numbers and counter quickly. It will keep hurting us until we change our approach to these games. It would be foolish to write all the good work off, that Arsenal have done this season based on one fixture though.
Our squad and to a much lesser extent our first 11 still short of being trophy winning material. We need a couple of top strikers and fast! Plus the likes of Miyachi simply 'aint up to it....had his chance....should've sold to Bolton. Him and Bendter were embarrassing.
Also this game was another that exposed our lack of pace (Ryo is just ****). Need Walcott and OXO back as soon as possible. We can't stretch defences, and that worries me ahead of the Liverpool game. Hopefully they come at us, and give us some space to work with.
Super, you came onto the Spurs board saying that comparing results is pointless and I asked are you beginning to fizzle out. We'll know more after the Liverpool match but two home defeats and not a great score against Palace tells me something.
In the league you have played 9 games, 7 against bottom half teams and are doing well. In cups you have played 2 decent teams and have lost.
Not entirely sure about that Chelsea's depth is far greater than Arsenal's, they need a relatively injury free season to have any chance of the top prize.
