Performance wise it wasn't as if they dominated us. Jenkobhad a blip and Mata showed his ability. If anything bothered me it was Bendy. If you want to go all out for the PL, then surely you must have been alarmed by the lack of ability on display today? We have to use some of these players should our starters get injured, so there is a correlation between today and the PL

No other choice. We got three huge games coming up, and we had to rest some key players. I was even shocked to see Ramsey play.
I wouldn't be bothered if this was 07/08 and we were playing a wholly different 11 full of kids compared to the league, like we did in thos days against top teams that had like 5-6 first teamers. But today showed a massive gulf in squad depth as Chelsea changed their team almost completely from the one that won vs City, and we kept half of the team that started in the league last week and looked completely hopeless.

I completely disagree on ignoring cups. The team needs a trophy to be lifted, and as of now the FA Cup should be taken very seriously. If we **** around and get knocked out by a non-PL team again I think it would be a massive blow that would be felt in the league.
