there's so many. i'm a mastiff man myself and have had dogue de bordeaux for years now. lost our big fella last year to the big c, but still have one and about ready for another. not sure i could have any other dog. they're great around kids and good fun... just as long as you don't mind them drooling and sleeping in your bed when you're away...

You're not really gonna get much choice rescuing fella, mostly cross breeds for pups too.

If you're not fussed what you get you'll have one in no time. I Just got another kitten, It's black and white <yikes> but people are having trouble rehoming black and white kittens so I thought **** it. He's called Milky Steve and he's cat number 3.

Don't get a big dog unless you have the room in your house
West Hall kennels have a regular supply of unwanted dogs and they really care about rehoming. On the Whitburn to Cleadon road
I've got a Parson Russell terrier, 5 the dog I've had and far & away the best dog I've had
Great with kids, people & other dogs

Get a samoyed, they cost a bit but you won't regret it -they love kids and they're adorable.

Most intelligent dog we ever had was a German Shepherd, it could read your mind.

Bout 400 quid last I checked. Find one of them at rescue shelter and you found a find and a half.

You could always breed your dog the once to pay for it. Just takes a bit of time to get your money back.
