Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed with the latest title odds in the papers. The one I read yesterday had Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Tottenham, Manchester City and Everton... 6 of the top 7..... Guess who is missing from the list even though we are above two of those?

So here is a question.... if Saints can maintain our recent form, at what point do we make it onto the "shortlist"........

Dont get me wrong, I do not expect us to mount a title challenge but surely if Everton on the list we are merely worth a mention......

Hadn't read anything, but I had heard some pundit trotting out a list of odds for winners of the title, and I noted Saints by their absence. Honestly don't know how Everton can get special odds. Take Lukaku away via injury and their firepower is hugely reduced. I would actually suggest that Saints have more chance.

I was partly joking about the Arsenal game being a 6 pointer, but it is one in truth. Losses to Arsenal and Chelsea drop us right down. Better win them then :)

When the market's wrong, that's the time to have a bet. The only time the odds are in the punter's favour is when a given contingency is overpriced. If you fancy Saints for a top 6 finish, you can get 7 (6/1) on Betfair. Not sure there's any value there to be honest. I've been looking closely at our odds all season, and to be honest I think the prices are about right, including the 309/1 against us winning the league. We're long odds on for a top 10 finish btw, which suggests that while the media might underestimate us, the bookies don't.

There might be some value in our FA Cup odds though. 32 on betfair, 40/1 with Corals and Betfred, and if you bet e/w it's half the odds if we finish runners up.

Cough, cough. Spurs are the 13th biggest club in european (I would suggest probably world as well) football in terms of revenue. They were 11th the year before. They are a massive global brand and I would guess stadium size hasn't got much of an influence on it compared to worldwide merchandise sales and global image rights. They are the 12th best supported club in the world with 11 million supporters. That is a lot of potential customers even if it is just for a keyring each. We have a long long way to reach that level.

As another Caveat Fulham are 28th highest revenue!!!!
