Wpl League Positions 2013-14

Woh! Thought I'd done terribly. Mind you, did the predictions yesterday in a rush, packing to come home of holiday, and was so tired once home I really didn't take in the results properly. Can't last.

(Didn't get the 'galloped' reference at first, Cologne. Very good. )

 

Argghh!
Just realised that I'm one of the two who tipped Brighton! I ALWAYS tip us to win 2-1, and I did the scores in such a hurry I bashed in 2-1 as a matter of course. I meant 1-2. Dagnabbit!
Too late to change. I'll swap top place for an away win of any sort tomorrow. In other words I'm in a win-win position though on balance a defeat would sting me loads more than staying top of the table.

 

Well didn't I do well, not. Worst score of the week, unless I get Watfords result spot on. A lot of results must have gone against form this w/e.

Still 4th though .

Hi GG. I tried to reply to your pvt message after Wembly twice but both times it got deleted, so I gave it up as a bad job which I didn't understand how to work. It was not me being rude by ignoring your message. Then I hadn't seen you here for a long time over the summer. It was great to meet you in person at wembly and put a face to a poster.

My mate in the pub put £5 on Forestieri at half time at 12-1 to be the first scorer after half time! We all lost out on a round of drinks.

Pity about your mate - 12-1 eh? I bet he curses the lack of goal line technology.

Golden Gordon extends his lead a little at the top - second and third have changed places - but it's all very close from 4th place to about mid table. Not surprisingly none of us got the Watford score correct - highest score of the day was 55 by Mark (see post 353 Mark). All still early days though with a long time to April.

WPL League positions (After 13 rounds )

A well above average number of goals going in over our 10 matches (35 in all), together with some very unpredictable results and a late Middlesboro equalizer led to a very low scoring week for most of us. No changes at the top, with Gordon extending his lead slightly. Highest scorer of the day was Charlie with 81 followed by Boltons Boots with 59 - altogether only 3 of us over 40 points. Charlie also being the highest climber of the day - from 15th up to 8th.

This prediction thing is so frustrating - week after week I'm within minutes of perfect scores only to see them taken away from me with injury time/late goals

 

I wish H, I feel I am for dreaded vote of confidence from the board after a long run of bad results etcetc! Mwaah!
