Must be a piss take though right ? who the Hell(sorry God) would seriously preach to a bunch of footy fans chewing the fat about the team they love ?

My take on God, if he see's everything surely he would have directed the author of the OP to post elsewhere..shown him a sign or something ??..<laugh>

He works in mysterious ways doesn't he ? .... Apparently God also works in mysterious ways !

Same as that annoying twät Pienaar.

They never flash a t-shirt saying "god is ****e" when they miss an open goal.

Don't get me started on the evangelical movement pagan. Have a look at the Jesus Camp documentary online to see how these weirdos are brainwashing young children in the USA. Those involved in the camp should be fcuking shot in my opinion.

I don't think I've seen that documentary but the scary thing is that a shooting at the camp could easily happen in the US and the powerful Christian nutters will use that as an excuse to further their cause. The USA could become a Christian fundamentalist country. Now that's some scary ****!

Become? Has there ever been a president who openly declared himself an atheist?

Fundamentalist is the key word. We all know that the USA is a strong Christian nation at the moment as is the UK.

Viking take you self righteous religious claptrap somewhere else, we don't need this rubbish on here, this is not the place for throwing religious sermons at posters, my stomach churns when I read such self righteous religious claptrap.

PS: By the way I consider myself to be Christian, but you have well overstepped the mark in your judgemental attitude of your fellow man.

"The loathing, the hatred, the pettiness and the rhetorics".

Well,I think he's summed up 606 quite well, then he went and spoiled it by bringing in his imaginary friend.

I agree with the above comments.

As for the UK being religious it was recently noted that in the last census almost half the population put 'no religion' on their return form so we're more enlightened than some..

    Thank god <laugh>

The founding fathers were mostly atheist. The irony when you look at it now...

Many were, steve, but even the Christians among them hasd very strict secular beliefs in the sense that religion and the State should be entirely separate. If you look at the wording of the Constitution of the U.S it's pretty clear. When one of them wanted a religious ceremony to announce the new document to the world he was out-voted.

Modern Americans by and large forget all that and this is why many in the Muslim world see America's wars as a modern day Christian crusade. I'm not condoning that view but you can see why they hold it.

After reading the comments on that site I'm afraid to watch the documentary because I know it will just make me very, very angry.
