Apologies if this is buried in the match day thread but that was JB's 5th yellow so one match ban and misses Wigan game. Not at all good.

Especially if its Henry plus one other. Surely it has to be 2 of Oneill, faurlin and Jenas but Im sure Redknapp wont do it.

He will do exactly the same thing, 451 with Henry playing and hoping for a 0-0 and to nick a goal via set piece.

Fatty Holt always scores against QPR. It is like some sort of law of the Universe. We will just have to score more than them. The absence of Maloney is somewhat helpful.

Bad news for you guys if Poyet gets Sunderland firing again after this w/e. How long has Hughton got left do you think?

Why should he not play Henry he looked very good Sat
It's Henry that allows us to play and keep the bloody ball ... Yes he gave away a poor pass ... Green seved as it was his fault anyway as he did against Bosingwa v Newcastle

Henry should be in IMO without him the full backs can't get forward enough

He drops deep and splits Hill and Dunne who tuck in behind the FBs going forward

It's basic stuff lads and Henry is great in that formation

The only chance you have of hoping Henry don't play is if Harold is brave enough to play an attacking option away ... Henry will and should only miss home games and then only if we are moving the ball via Carroll

Carroll in Harold's head way in front of Faurlin IMO and only here because of TF IMO

They are split on Hughton, but mostly in his favourThe Cardiff game was very one sided,we had thirty shots.Brilliant display by Marshall and I guess you might say they deserved the point for that alone.I don't know if you watched the Sunderland game but they were definitely second best.On that performance I don't think they will win many games.Wednesday make or break for you boys?

I doubt it, a very long way to go. In 2010-11 we lost three in six after our unbeaten run, plenty of twists and turns to come...

Thank goodness Barton is out because of disciplinary points. For a moment there, and after the Burnley game, I was worried that his bottle had gone...

I do not want to travel 200 miles to see Jermaine ****ing Jenas the invisible man. Faurlin and Henry with Hoilett and O'Neil either side with Kranjcar off the striker please Harry.

Difference between our (2) 'good' performances and the 'grind out a result' ones (the rest) seems to be Tom Carroll. ****ing lightweight.

Pretty clear to me Harold has a couple of plans here ... no idea what they are mind you but it's looking very much like i said in the past ... home and away sides

I await to see if NK can grab a game like he should away from home

Henry's has some decent performances but let's not kid ourselves that Saturday was one of them.

He scored one and created the other against Millwall. That's a fairly decent performance in my book.

Neither, as you know really. Long season and a January window in which to find another Remy. Perhaps one that can behave himself with the ladies?!

I would say, 'Good Luck' but Col would come around and break my legs!!

We will definitely have a problem in midfield if we perform like we did on Saturday. I lost count of the number of times O'Neil, Krancjar and particularly Hoilett gave the ball away. Without Barton's battling things may have been a lot worse.

I suspect HR may start Jenas even though he has yet to put in a decent performance. It could be that he will be more effective than when he comes off the bench with a very specialised remit although I'm not holding my breath. Other than that HR needs to instil some discipline in Krancjar and get him to play as a pivot for the other midfielders rather than the free role he has been enjoying. If he can't do that then Faurlin should be given another chance.

I can see why you like Barton,in exactly the same way that I can see why the Scousers like Suarez. He is a good player and fully committed. But like Suarez he gets carried away too easily in the heat of battle. That challenge that gave the penalty to Burnley was ill considered. At one nil with two minutes plus stoppage time you were in with a chance of a draw.Time and again we see teams score at the death.Without that mad lunge you might have been looking at a different table today.

A player made a mis-timed challenge in the box, so what? Barton might not be everyone's favourite - and that includes some Rangers fan - but he clearly gets targeted by opposition players and supporters virtually every game we play. And refs too.

He's certainly got his faults, but so far this season he's been very level headed. 'Mad lunge' my a**s.

Bang on! If 'Coke Gate' had happened to Suarez, he would be in ITU over night! Long may the new JB keep his famous temper in check.

Then you are not looking at it in the right way.We are three points behind Swansea in 9th place and have played five of the top six having beaten Saints and drawn with Everton.
