The problem he faces, is that despite their words around giving him time etc etc, the simple fact is, that they're a PLC & their share price could ultimately dictate his fate. As if it gets to around Xmas time & United are still outside the top 4 & it looks like missing out on CL next season is a realistic possibility, this could have a negative effect on their share price, as it would be a disaster for them on a number of levels. A falling share price would see the Glazers arses twitch & they'll get out the shotgun without a 2nd thought imo.
Feasible, but unlikely. Having been on their website earlier, a good few of them think that was a MASSIVE result Vs Stoke and will prove the kickstart they need. Sounds familiar
It might turn out to be a pivotal moment, but personally I doubt it, as he'll make the same decision he made last week - again..... I also get the distinct impression that all is not completely well behind the scenes there at the minute, could be wrong like, but some of the body language is telling imo.
Nobody is allowed to use the "T" word, because it has been banned by the club please log in to view this image Right there in the gender section.
The list is for stewards to listen out for *fans* saying those words - so in the context you were talking about 'are fans so stupid ....' PS don't answer that
I doubt many, if any are "thinking it". As football fans we will dream about it of course. Some may think it's a possibility but there is a difference between that and banging on about it after 9 games. Come the year 2033 you will understand what it's like to have gone two decades without a "t word" and how realistic it makes you If I reversed the question and asked "how do manc fans feel about being out of the title race after 9 games?" you would find the majority saying the same thing. Stupid question because the only teams in the title race are the ones there at the end of the season.
Given that the handouts were for stewards, when can we expect to see one running on the pitch in his high vis jacket hauling off one of the players I think they were saying that the players have had all the race related courses etc. to ensure there's no racism on the pitch so off the pitch needs to be addressed too.
To be fair, i like the clubs attitude at the moment. Each week there is no time to think about top 4 or the league because there is a cup final on saturday.
The difference is that I will say it openly: " United are still in the shout for the title. We may be 8th and 8 points off the pace but since there are many contenders at the moment and no one is running with it, and many teams can take points off each other including the favourites City and Chelsea, United are not out of it....yet!" I am convinced that many here (ok some) really do think that Liverpool WILL challenge for the title this season but for whatever reason will not say it openly...except for Luvgonzo. What is wrong in saying "Liverpool on current form could win the title" ?
Surely this is a bit too crude isn't it? both on my part and yours...?? An OP inviting everyone to shout " We are definitely winning the Title"...
All opposition supporters have convinced themselves that all Liverpool fans think we'll win the title every season, so that doesn't surprise me. And its a bit easier for a supporter for a team who won the title last season to say they are in with a shout of winning the league, isn't it?
